[css-d] Unwanted Space in Firefox

2008-11-08 Thread Carla Bruni
I am struggling with this for a while.
Here is the link http://www.geocities.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/techie.html
Firefox shows huge space over tabs.
In Explore looks alright.
How to improve that? I am out of streamline ideas. Please give it a look.
Thanks
Carla

[css-d] Can we create a newsletter in CSS

2008-11-30 Thread Carla Bruni

I  might be a bit late with my post.
I think the best information about newsletters you can get by
subscribing and observing letter from the respectful companies of the similar
business.
The safest is hybrid layout, the tabled one.
I saw that lots of companies are just slicing pictures with text and it looks
good,readable and nice.
The chose should depend on what business you are in, what is more important in
your newsletters
the actual text(information) or the product display(pictures).
It reminds me of a book " Pattern Recognition"

I am sure you do everything right.
Try to do the same thing using inline CSS.

[css-d] The CSS Overlords

2009-01-19 Thread Carla Bruni

Keeping in mind obviouce fact that not only web developers are a part of that
list:
Experience shows, those who don't like CSS are hoping that their  secretaries
will be able to keep websites updated.
Table are WYSIWYG. In CSS you see nothing, you need to go through the code, and
it might get frustrating  if you know only Word with Excell.

If you want to use you cellphone from mid 90 and use tables,<- it's your
personal choice.
