[css-d] Drop Shadow for a div with rounded corners

2010-06-28 Thread Rebecca Gessler
Hi everyone,
I am trying to add a drop shadow to my container div that has rounded
corners on the top and bottom. I am using the 960 grid system:
http://sasmg.org/sasmg/
Basically the entire thing should be in a drop shadow (from the tree image
down to the bottom). I have looked for tutorials online but my case seems
special due to the rounded corners.

Thank you for any suggestions you can provide,
Becky G

[css-d] Drop Down Menu in IE6- Z Index issue? Please help!

2009-08-06 Thread Rebecca Gessler
Hi everyone,
This is really driving me crazy. I am pretty sure this has something
to do with the way my z-indexes are set up. The problem is only with
IE6... IE7 it works fine and also FireFox.

The drop down menu in IE6 comes down and overlaps all appropriate
divs, but it disappears before you can mouse over the options.

(images are not displaying so it will look funny)

Any help would be more than greatly appreciated.

Best,
Becky

[css-d] Drop Down Menu works in IE7 but not IE6

2009-08-05 Thread Rebecca Gessler
Hi everyone,
I am having trouble with my css drop down menu. The drop down will
display properly, overlapping all appropriate divs, but it won't stay
there for the mouse to go over it unless I changed the z-indexes of
the divs it overlaps. The only way for it to work is if I set the z
index values of the two divs it overlaps to something like -1. However
when I do this, the content in those 2 divs disappear.

The parent div of the menu is z-index 1500 and then the menu is 1000.
The menu works in firefox and IE7, but of course not IE6.

Thank you so much for your help!!

Best,
Becky
