[css-d] Regarding Astratehcnologies.com
I'm sorry it took so long to get back to the list on the problem with my site. Alan was actually the second person that told me my site had been blocked by their anti-virus/spyware program. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the site that should arouse suspicions for the programs. However, I have talked to the contractor and he will be looking into why the site is eliciting the blocking. Please bear with me and I will repost my problem when we have the kinks worked out. I'm sorry if that made me look suspicious. That's the last thing I need since I've been pulling my hair out about the problem. William D. [css-d] Problems with background images
I am trying to figure out why I have to have a background image in my = body for background images in other elements such as divs to work. I = have a background image set for the overall body, but it's messing with = my CSS rollovers. And I am having the same problem across browsers with = the background images - not just IE. The site is www.astratechnologies.com/index.php. There are also two = substantially different versions of the CSS based on browsers. At this = point, the IE version likely doesn't work due to the changes I made to = it trying to get the rollovers and bg images to work. Please help. William D. [css-d] IE problem with floating
I have a question: I am building a web site that has a background logo image, a logo image fixed at the top to allow the text flow behind it and then a left navigation bar as well. Problem is the left nav bar doesn't show up correctly in IE. Since both the nav bar (#menu) and the main (#main) body are in "columns" they are floated to the left. However, to give the nav bar the correct look, I have had to use other positioning within the #menu. The site can be found at www.astratechnologies.com/index.php and the css is at www.astratechnologies.com/templateCSS.css. Thanks for the help. William D.
