I see you gave up on this on your site. You can simply fix the problem by
adding a line break br / in the HTML after the parent items. This makes it
work in IE and doesn't affect how it works in Firefox/safari/opera.

I was hoping one of the CSS experts could suggest how to correct this (for a
floated menu) using CSS rather than within the HTML.

(let me know off-list if you need to see an working example of the problem /
workaround)

[css-d] Drop down menu woes

Hi all, I'm relatively inexperienced in using CSS for more than the most
basic layout and design needs and I have been trying to set up some drop
down menus for a site I am working on (http://www.document-group.com). I
have managed to get to the point where the menus appear the way I want
them to in Firefox (1.5) but IE seems to have a completely different idea
of how things should look.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
