I see you gave up on this on your site. You can simply fix the problem by
adding a line break br / in the HTML after the parent items. This makes it
work in IE and doesn't affect how it works in Firefox/safari/opera.
I was hoping one of the CSS experts could suggest how to correct this (for a
floated menu) using CSS rather than within the HTML.
(let me know off-list if you need to see an working example of the problem /
workaround)
