They are a little bit of a pain to work with, but with persistence you can get them to work beautifully. Granted 's aren't as customizable as what Michael has going here, the benefit to ease of digestion (assuming server side code is the first to get it) and accessibility is a discussion worth having with the client, IMO. __ css-discuss [css-d@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/

[css-d] Help w/CSS and Bootstrap
Hi all, Thanks to all from my previous post regarding some CSS/Bootstrap issues. I've been able to work through most of my issues, but still have 2 that are eluding me. The sample page is located at: http://192.185.4.142/~badoyn/report_test/ Questions are: - In the left sidebar (Choose a Report) I would like the hover to extend the complete width of the sidebar and midway up/down between the items. I still can't get this to work. Should I use a more specific style to target just the left sidebar? I don't want hose all the panel that are part of bootstrap. - In the Report Parameters section, I've added some css/javascript that I found on the web to make a custom drop down list. When I have just one it works beautifully. When I add more they seem to operate at the same time. I'm sure it's simple but I can't see it. Been doing a lot of searching and reading. I even tried to contact the author of the tutorial but have received no answer. If there is a better way I'm open to it. The client would like a custom drop down, not the run-of-the-mill kind. Thanks all for the help.
