Wow, thanks for that link. I will test the idea later. That is GREAT  
reading. I tried everything to remove these duplicated characters.  
Very frustrating and I would never have thought of this duplicate  
character bug in IE. Just when you thought you have seen every crazy  
thing that IE can do you stumble across another doozy!

[css-d] Two annoying problems with IE6 preview... unwanted characters etc.

Hi All,

I am working on a gallery site. All seems well in FF, Opera, Safari  
etc. However in IE6 there is some strange letter repetition happening  
with one of the footer text boxes. The letters ed show up below the  
rightfooter at the following URL:www.maxwellbalmain.com

These letters will show when the text view in IE6 is set to normal.

Also my navigation is hanging too low and to the left in IE6  IE5  
for the Mac. All other browsers render the page well (seemingly)...

Any thoughts will be most welcome!
