Thanks to all who've replied. I added the following code to my .clear class
earlier and it may have rectified the problem:

font-size: 0;
height: 1px;

If anyone else is kind enough to try using Firefox, could they confirm the
display of the pale blue background is okay?

Looks good to me on FF 1.0.6 on WinXP.

Just a reminder to everyone -- please trim your posts before sending to
the list. This means, cut out everything from the previous post to
which you are not directly replying. At a bare minimum, you should cut
out the previous poster's personal signature and the previous message's
list signature. Then, add your comments above (discouraged) or below
(greatly encouraged) the quoted material. This will really reduce the
size of your messages and make many other people on the list a little
happier. Quotation-trimming is part of the list policies; see

.

Thanks,

Hello Anthony,

Works for me as well using FF 1.0.4 on Win XP SP2 without reload.

The problem is that the background colour of the main content area doesn't
reach down to the bottom of the container, even though it should (and does
upon refresh!). I have uploaded an image showing the problem indicated by
the red arrow here:

is opened. I'm very puzzled as to why it happens and would appreciate any
assistance in tracking down the cause.

I saw a short rearranging on the right side in DeerPark a2.

Have you tried to give the img "Elite cyclists" a height?
