world that you are an apologist, if not a very effective one, for Israeli abuses

There are many New Yorkers who would like to 
spend some time with these cheerleaders for 911 in a small 
room.  And the suspicion remains that they were co-conspirators in 911,

Incredible and bizarre as it sounds, humanity is indeed the victim of a
diabolical conspiracy.

War, depression and genocide in the past century were not accidental or

Shocking evidence is a 1938 Stalinist police (NKVD) interrogation of a founder
of the Communist International, Christian G. Rakovsky, 65, who was facing the
firing squad for plotting to overthrow Stalin.

 The 50-page transcript of his interrogation, dubbed "The Red Symphony," was
not meant to become public. It confirms that the Rothschild-Illuminati planned
to use Communism to establish a world dictatorship of the super rich.

This is perhaps the most explosive political document in modern history. It
reveals why the Illuminati financed Hitler and then tried to destroy him, and
why Stalin made a pact with Hitler in 1939.

Christian Rakovsky was a veteran Communist insider. Born Chaim Rakeover in
1873, he studied medicine in France before becoming a revolutionary. He was the
leader of a terror group that attacked government officials.

In 1919, Lenin put him in charge of the Soviet Ukraine government. He
successfully kept the area for the Bolsheviks during the Civil War. Stalin
appointed him Russian ambassador to Paris in 1925,

Rakovsky belonged to the powerful Trotskyite faction that took their orders
from the Rothschilds. Many of this group were shot in Stalin's 1937 Communist
Party purge.


MIDNIGHT INTERROGATION

Thus, the circumstances of the midnight interrogation Jan. 26, 1938 were very
dramatic.

What could Rakovsky say that would save his life?

Rakovsky appears to use the tactic of "deceiving with the truth." He wins trust
by revealing the truth but leaves some of it out. He tries to impress Kus'min
that he and Trotsky represent an invincible power he calls the
"Capitalist-Communist Financial International."

He confirms that the "revolutionary movement" was designed to enlist support by
pretending to serve mankind's moral and collective ideals. The real aim,
however, is to divide society, undermine established authority and create
totalitarian rule.

"Revolution" really means, "overturning" Western civilization.

"Christianity is our only real enemy since all the political and economic
phenomena of the bourgeois states are only its consequences," Rakovsky says.

Peace is "counter-revolutionary" since it is war that paves the way for
revolution.

Rakovsky refers to the Illuminati as "they" or "them." He claims he does not
know them but I suspect he does.

He explains that the "Illuminati" is a Masonic secret society dedicated to
Communism. Significantly, its founder Adam Weishaupt took the name from "the
second anti-Christian conspiracy of that era, gn
osticism." (249)


HOW THIS GRIPPING ACCOUNT SURFACED

The interrogator was one of Stalin's cleverest agents, Gavriil Kus'min known as
"Gabriel."
Apart from him and a hidden sound technician, a doctor Jose Landowsky was the
only other person present.

Conscripted by the NKVD to help "loosen the tongues of detainees," Dr.
Landowsky was sickened by the many tortures he witnessed.

The interrogation of Rakovsky, however, was cordial. Dr. Landowsky doubts if
the mild euphoric he put in Rakovsky's drink had much effect.

The interrogation, conducted in French lasted from midnight until 7 a.m. After,
Kus'min ordered Landowsky to translate the interview into Russian and make two
copies.

The content was so mind boggling that Landowsky made an additional carbon for
himself. "I am not sorry that I had the courage for this," he wrote. (279) (The
Bolsheviks had shot Landowsky's father, a Tsarist colonel, during the 1917
revolution.)

A Spanish volunteer later found the manuscript on Landowsky's dead body in a
hut on the Petrograd front during World War Two. He took it back to Spain where
it was published as "Sinfonia en Rojo Mayo." in 1949.

The whole transcript was published in English in 1968 as "The Red Symphony:
X-Ray of Revolution." You can find it in Des Griffin's "Fourth Reich of the
Rich." (1988) I recommend this book.


REVELATIONS

Rakovsky gives his interrogator an astonishing inside view of modern history in
order to prove that his sponsors control the world.

"Money is the basis of power," Rakovsky says, and the Rothschilds manufacture
it thanks to the banking system.

The "Revolutionary Movement" was an attempt by Meyer Rothschild and his allies
to protect and extend this monopoly by establishing a New World Order using the
"revolutionary movement."

According to Rakovsky, "The Rothschilds were not the treasurers, but the chiefs
of that first secret Communism.

In a report published Monday, the Lovenstein Institute of Scranton, Pennsylvania, detailed its findings of a four-month study of the intelligence quotient of President George W. Bush. Since 1973, the Lovenstein Institute has published its research to the educational  community on each new president, which includes the amous "IQ" report among others..There have been twelve presidents over the past 50 years, from F.D. Roosevelt to G.W. Bush, who were rated based on scholarly achievements, writings that they produced without aid of staff, their ability to  speak with clarity, and several other psychological factors, which were then scored using the Swanson/Crain system of intelligence ranking. The study determined the following IQs of each president as accurate to within five percentage points.

 procedures used to arrive at these ratings, including depth of sentence structure and voice stress confidence analysis. "All the Presidents prior to George W. Bush had a least one book under their belt, and most had written several white papers during their education or early careers. Not so with President Bush," Dr. Lovenstein said. "He has no published works orwritings, which made it more difficult to arrive at an assessment. We relied more heavily on transcripts of his unscripted public speaking." The Lovenstein Institute of Scranton Pennsylvania think tank includes high caliber historians, psychiatrists, sociologists, scientists in human behavior, and psychologists. newly-discovered U.S. government documents reveal.

Furthermore, the records show that Bush and his colleagues routinely
attempted to conceal their activities from government investigators.

Bush's partners in the secret web of Thyssen-controlled ventures included
former New York Governor W. Averell Harriman and his younger brother, E.
Roland Harriman. Their quarter-century of Nazi financial transactions, from
1924-1951, were conducted by the New York private banking firm, Brown
Brothers Harriman.

The White House did not return phone calls seeking comment.

Although the additional seizures under the Trading with the Enemy Act did
not take place until after the war, documents from The National Archives and
Library of Congress confirm that Bush and his partners continued their Nazi
dealings unabated. These activities included a financial relationship with
the German city of Hanover and several industrial concerns. They went
undetected by investigators until after World War Two.

At the same time Bush and the Harrimans were profiting from their Nazi
partnerships, W. Averell Harriman was serving as President Franklin Delano
Roosevelt's personal emissary to the United Kingdom during the toughest
years of the war. On October 28, 1942, the same day two key
Bush-Harriman-run businesses were being seized by the U.S. government,
Harriman was meeting in London with Field Marshall Smuts to discuss the war
effort.

Denial and Deceit

While Harriman was concealing his Nazi relationships from his government
colleagues, Cornelius Livense, the top executive of the interlocking German
concerns held under the corporate umbrella of Union Banking Corporation
(UBC), repeatedly tried to mislead investigators, and was sometimes
supported in his subterfuge by Brown Brothers Harriman.

All of the assets of UBC and its related businesses belonged to
Thyssen-controlled enterprises, including his Bank voor Handel en
Scheepvaart in Rotterdam, the documents state.

Nevertheless, Livense, president of UBC, claimed to have no knowledge of
such a relationship. "Strangely enough, (Livense) claims he does not know
the actual ownership of the company," states a government report.

H.D Pennington, manager of Brown Brothers Harriman and a director of UBC
"for many years," also lied to investigators about the secret and
well-concealed relationship with Thyssen's Dutch bank, according to the
documents.

Investigators later reported that the company was "wholly owned" by
Thyssen's Dutch bank.

Despite such ongoing subterfuge, U.S. investigators were able to show that
"a careful examination of UBC's general ledger, cash books and journals from
1919 until the present date clearly establish that the principal and
practically only source of funds has been Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart."

In yet another attempt to mislead investigators, Livense said that $240,000
in banknotes in a safe deposit box at Underwriters Trust Co. in New York had
been given to him by another UBC-Thyssen associate, H.J. Kouwenhoven,
managing director of Thyssen's Dutch bank and a director of the August
Thyssen Bank in Berlin. August Thyssen was Fritz's father.

The government report shows that Livense first neglected to report the
$240,000, then claimed that it had been given to him as a gift by

  ITTLE ROCK, Ark. — When Wesley K. Clark retired from 
  the military three years ago and was building a new career, one of the 
  first people he called was Richard C. Holbrooke, the former United Nations 
  envoy.
  Mr. Holbrooke was brutally honest about the general's marketability. "I 
  told him, 'Trust me, no one has ever heard of you,' " Mr. Holbrooke 
  recalled in an interview. "And he shot back, `Well, I was the supreme 
  commander of NATO.' "
  And although General Clark, the latest entrant in the Democratic 
  presidential field, left the military with precious little in the bank to 
  show for years of public service, he has managed to find his way to 
  wealth. In just three years, he has patched together a career heavy with 
  speaking engagements and seats on corporate boards, and has even taken a 
  stab at investment banking. All of which has put him in the enviable 
  position of having $2 million in checking accounts and an annual income 
  that topped $1.6 million last year.
  General Clark declined to be interviewed for this article, but his 
  campaign provided information to The New York Times on his earnings and 
  assets.
  The path between the Pentagon and major defense contractors (whose 
  board seats pay as much as $200,000 a year) is well trod — Gen. John M. 
  Shalikashvili, now retired, sits on the Boeing board, while another 
  retired general, John Ralston, is on the Lockheed Martin board. Other 
  wartime generals, like Colin L. Powell, H. Norman Schwarzkopf and Tommy R. 
  Franks, have turned their fame into million-dollar book deals. 
  But General Clark was perhaps not in a position to cash in as readily, 
  in part because as allied commander during the Kosovo war he was not as 
  well known as the men who ran the first war in Iraq. Moreover, his 
  potential as a lobbyist in the eyes of the defense industry could have 
  been undercut by his publicized run-ins with the Pentagon — although those 
  close to General Clark said he was drawn more to working with small 
  entrepreneurial companies. 
  In any case the general clearly surmounted obstacles to a richer life, 
  and one important method he relied on was political connections.
  In addition to Mr. Holbrooke, he sought out Thomas F. McLarty III, a 
  former Clinton chief of staff.
  "Wes called me when he was leaving the military and seeking advice," 
  said Mr. McLarty, who has also served with General Clark on the board of 
  the Acxiom Corporation, a Little Rock data collection company. "What you 
  do when you're repotting yourself can be a tricky proposition. Wes was 
  gathering facts to decide what to do in the next passage of his life, and 
  a lot of arrows were pointing to return to Arkansas."
  To that end the general sought out Vernon Weaver, a former ambassador 
  to the European Union, who is an executive at the Stephens Group, a 
  politically connected Little Rock investment bank. The introduction helped 
  him in the door. From June 2000, Stephens provided General Clark with a 
  steady paycheck and a base of operations.
  Using this springboard, he fashioned a career representing smaller 
  defense contractors in Washington and writing a book, but for less money 
  than military superstars like Mr. Powell.
  "Wesley Clark must be one of the few four-star generals not associated 
  with a Fortune 500 company," said Loren Thompson, a military analyst with 
  the Lexington Institute, a Northern Virginia nonprofit.
  Stephens — where General Clark worked until last March, first as a 
  consultant and later as a managing director — has long supported both 
  parties. Its reputation was tarnished by ties to some people involved in 
  Clinton fund-raising scandals. The Stephens family has also given to 
  Republicans, including both Bushes and Bob Dole.
  Those who have worked with General Clark, whether at Stephens or a 
  half-dozen other companies, said his main value was as a Washington 
  door-opener, helping them land government contracts and advising them what 
  products the Pentagon might want.
  For a Virginia-based Stephens client, WaveCrest Laboratories, he helped 
  market electrical bicycles to special operations forces. He helped Acxiom 
  land government contracts for its antiterrorism databases. For Time 
  Domain, an Alabama company, he promoted Soldier Vision, which through 
  ultrawideband wireless enables troops to "see" through walls.

UFO Conspiracy Theories, 1975-1990

Immediately after the Oklahoma City bombing in the spring of 1995,
mainstream Americans suddenly became aware of a radical political subculture
in their midst. With the arrest of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols and the
media coverage of their lives, attitudes, and associations, the public was
abruptly introduced to the previously insular world of militias,
antigovernment shortwave-radio broadcasts, and racist literature. A racist
novel (written by Andrew Macdonald, also known as William Pierce), The
Turner Diaries-unobtainable through conventional bookstores-became an object
of intense interest once it became known that McVeigh had read and
recommended it, and it was revealed that the novel contained an episode
strikingly similar to the federal building bombing. An avalanche of
television, magazine, and newspaper stories uncovered the existence of
conspiracy believers obsessed with black helicopters and armed against what
they believed to be an imminent invasion by forces of the New World Order.1

LAROUCHE IS THE "UNNAMED CANDIDATE" WHO CAN BEAT BUSH

Nov. 8--Speaking on a Missouri radio talk show on Nov. 7th, Lyndon LaRouche
declared that he is the "unnamed" Democrat who can beat President Bush in
2004. LaRouche was referring to a recent poll showing that all of his so-
called rivals for the Democratic Party Presidential nomination, running
against Bush would lose, but that an "unnamed" Democrat could beat Bush.
LaRouche dismissed speculation that Hillary Clinton was the "unnamed
candidate," pointing out that her ambitions extend no further than becoming
a vice-presidential candidate in a hung Democratic Party nominating
convention, a strategy which assumes a Democratic defeat in November.

LaRouche's remarks capped a week in which his Campaign moved from strength
to strength, beginning with the Nov. 3rd decision by the Secretary of State
of California to place LaRouche's name on the California ballot. California
Secretary of State Kevin Shelley selected LaRouche as a nationally
"generally recognized" candidate. LaRouche had previously been certified
for the Feb. 3 Democratic primary ballot in Missouri, despite a last minute
DNC directed effort to refuse his submission.

The California certification was followed by a smashing victory in the Nov
4th Philadelphia mayor race, where the deployment of LaRouche Youth
Movement secured a massive margin for incumbant Mayor Street, who was under
attack from the gestapo Ashcroft Justice Department. Then, on Nov 7th,
LaRouche was certified for Jan. 13th primary ballot in Washington, D.C. by
the D.C. Board of Elections. Washington, D.C. is a hotbed of organizing by
LaRouche Youth Movement, which has carried the Campaign to unseat war-
mongering Vice President Dick Cheney into the streets, as well as into the
halls of the U.S. Congress. The LaRouche campaign has been running ads
indicting Cheney on D.C.'s largest news radio station, WTOP for months.

Overall, it was a very bad week for the Democratic National Committee
faction, which has been leading the Democrats into oblivion, and has been
desperate to contain LaRouche, who has the only campaign with a significant
youth movement, and with demonstrated broad support among the lower 80% of
income brackets in the American population.

In Washington, D.C. five of the so-called major Democratic candidates
promptly withdrew their names from the ballot, on the pretext that the D.C
primary violates Party rules, a move which was denounced as "gutless" by
D.C. Councilman Jack Evans, the author of the D.C. primary legislation.
Meanwhile, nominal front-runner Harold Dean remains on the D.C. ballot,
where he will go up against LaRouche, who is known as the champion of the
fight to save D.C. General Hospital, and to end the murderous HMO system.

Indicative of the broad support for LaRouche "unnamed" candidacy, his
campaign continues to have the second largest number of individual itemized
contributions of any of the 10 Presidential Candidates, according to the
October Quarterly reports made available by the Federal Election
Commission.

The LaRouche Campaign has announced that the candidate will be touring New
England, with appearances in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts, the
week of Nov. 9th, and the Midwest, with appearances in Michigan and
Missouri, the week of Nov. 16th.

Is the U.S. really launching a 'global democratic revolution'?

It's just a coincidence that George W. Bush gave a speech announcing that 
the U.S. was leading a "global democratic revolution" on the eve of Leon 
Trotsky's birthday, but it is one that neatly illustrates the militant 
revolutionism at the core of American foreign policy in the post-9/11 era.

The proximity to Trotsky's birthday was fortuitous, but the venue of this 
revolutionary proclamation was not: it was a speech commemorating the 
twentieth anniversary of the founding of the National Endowment for 
Democracy (NED), the brainchild of neoconservative ideologues, many of 
whom have their roots on the Trotskyite Left. Having given up the dream 
of revolutionary socialism for the more practical project of global 
"democracy," the troublesome little sect of neoconservatives, not so 
affectionately known as "neocons," is at last having its moment in the sun.

The NED was a sop thrown to the neocons during the Reagan 
administration, so they could have a little domain of their own, a small but 
strategically placed contingent of "Socialists for Reagan" embedded deep 
in the bowels of the U.S. government. The first President of the group, 
Carl Gershman, was a longtime member of the Social Democrats, USA, 
formerly the Socialist Party, a group dominated by the legendary Max 
Shachtman. The founder of "third camp" neo- Trotskyism, Shachtman broke 
with Trotsky in the 1940s and evolved, over the years, into a firm supporter 
of U.S. military intervention worldwide, while retaining â like Sidney Hook â 
his dedication to the "democratic" socialist cause.

As top advisors to the Lane Kirkland wing of the AFL-CIO, Shachtman and 
his followers burrowed deep in the labor movement, and lobbied 
extensively for the establishment of a government-subsidized "quasi-
private" foundation that would help them extend their labor connections 
internationally, The effort bloomed in the Carter years, when the two 
parties agreed to share in the spoils, and bore fruit at the start of the 
Reagan years. The legislation establishing the National Endowment for 
Democracy mandated that most of its funding, at least initially, would go to 
the Free Trade Union Institute (FTUI), an arm of the AFL-CIO's International 
Affairs Department.

Aside from the subsidy, however, the benefits to the Shachtmanites were 
also ideological: from their perch at the NED, they could egg on the 
administration to confront the Soviet Union and agitate for the 
prosecution of the cold war to the fullest â all at taxpayers' expense. 
When the Soviet Union imploded, however, so did the rationale for the 
NED â and it narrowly escaped the budget ax. But post- 9/11, the NED â 
along with the neoconservative movement â was given a new lease on life. 
Certainly George W. Bush's conversion to Shachtmanism, as evidenced by 
his NED address, represents the apotheosis of neocon dominance in 
Washington.

The odd combination of Soviet-style phraseology with ostensibly 
conservative rhetoric made for a speech of unsurpassed weirdness. On the 
one hand, the President celebrated the victory of capitalism, hailing the 
triumph of "democracy," "free enterprise," and "markets," and yet somehow 
managed to do it the style of a socialist orator out of the 1930s.

The U.S., according to Bush, was no ordinary country, nor even one 
especially blessed, but an "inspiration for oppressed peoples," whose 
acolytes worldwide "knew of at least one place â a bright and hopeful land 
â where freedom was valued and secure" â kind of like the Soviet Union was 
to the Commies of yesteryear. Here, too, are references to the necessity 
for "sacrifice" â a favorite theme of the old Soviet rhetoricians â including 
this Orwellian formulation:

"By definition, the success of freedom rests upon the choices and the 
courage of free peoples, and upon their willingness to sacrifice."

Freedom is, "by definition," slavery. War is peace. And Ignorance, as we all 
know, is Strength.

The speeches of the Soviet leaders, and their American imitators, were 
always filled with new "turns," announcing the most recent twist in the 
party line, and the Bush speech displays the same grandiose tic:

"We've reached another great turning point â and the resolve we show will 
shape the next stage of the world democratic movement."

America as the leader of a "world movement" â the idea is positively 
Leninist.

Full of revolutionary resolve, the U.S. must now focus on the Middle East 
"for decades to come," said Bush. For some strange reason, Mesopotamia 
does not yet share Montana's enthusiasm for democratic governance, and 
this is impermissible:

"Are the peoples of the Middle East somehow beyond the reach of liberty? 
Are millions of men and women and children condemned by history or 
culture to l

I wanted to find out just how difficult it is to purchase young Slavic women for the sex trade. It is, as I discovered, really quite easy. All that's needed is a connection and cold hard cash. 

The meeting took place in an apartment in Ottawa, Canada's capital city, on a brisk, snowy night in early January 2003. I was a bit nervous. The man I was to meet was no ordinary low-level thug. Ludwig Fainberg is a notorious Israeli mobster with a hair-trigger temper and a penchant for extreme violence. According to FBI documents, he was the middleman for an international drugs and weapons smuggling conspiracy linking Colombian drug lords with the Russian Mafia in Miami. Fainberg's claim to fame was that in the mid-1990s, he ventured onto a high-security naval base in the far northern reaches of Russia. His mission was to negotiate the purchase of a Russian Cold War-era diesel submarine -- complete with a retired naval captain and a twenty-five-man crew -- for the Columbian cocaine cartel. The price tag: a cool $5.5 million. The vessel was to be used to smuggle tons of white powder along the California coast. The deal fell through. 

>From 1990 until he was arrested and charged in Miami in February 1997 for smuggling and racketeering, Fainberg ran an infamous strip club called Porky's. The pink neon club on the fringe of Miami International Airport was a magnet for Russian hoods and sleazy East European émigrés with misbegotten fortunes and visions of untapped criminal proceeds. 

Fainberg's rise through ROC [Russian organized crime] ranks is the stuff of Hollywood B-movies. He was born in Odessa, Ukraine, in 1958. When he was thirteen he and his parents immigrated to Israel. Later, he tried out for the Israeli Marines, wanting to become a Navy Seal. He flunked basic training. Then he wanted to become an officer in the Israeli Army but failed the exam. His over-inflated ego bruised, he decided to try his luck elsewhere. In 1980 he packed a suitcase and headed for Berlin, where he earned his stripes as a street-level goon in extortion and credit card fraud. Four years later he set out for the United States -- a land he fondly refers to as "the Wild West because it is so easy to steal there!" 

He settled in the Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn, which had become the seat of the Organizatsiya, as the Russian mob is often called. There he linked up with the mob and specialized in arson -- torching businesses competing with those that were Russian owned. 1990 he moved to Miami to run Porky's. Nine years later he was convicted on racketeering charges and sentenced to thirty-seven months in prison. Since he had already spent thirty months in jail awaiting trial, Fainberg was deported to Israel. The next year he turned up in Canada with dreams of making it rich in the flesh trade. Not long after his arrival he married a Canadian and moved into a comfortable apartment along the Ottawa River with his new bride and his ten-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. 

I entered the well-appointed two-bedroom flat and Fainberg stared hard into my face as we shook hands. He's a burly man with a thin goatee and short-cropped hair, and he was clearly sizing me up. I must have passed. He gripped my hand firmly and escorted me to the living room, which was outfitted with the latest gizmos in video and audio entertainment. I sank down into a soft, black kid-leather couch while he retreated to the kitchen to get a couple of imported beers. 

"You can call me Tarzan," he began as he burst back into the room. With a proud boyish grin, he tossed me one of his business cards. The cover of the custom-made two-fold card sported the caricature of a mop-topped muscular man under the name of Porky's. The inside featured a cartoon of an ample nude woman bending over in knee-high stiletto-heeled boots. Underneath was his name -- "Tarzan Da Boss" -- and on the opposite side "Welcome to Planet Sex, Land of Fantasy." According to Fainberg, he was nicknamed Tarzan because he once sported a wild mane of hair and acted as though he was straight out of a jungle. These days, for travel and immigration purposes, he's known as Alon Bar. The former strip-club owner legally changed his name during his last pit stop in Israel. 

The man is a consummate braggart. For the better part of the evening he crowed about his illicit escapades and nefarious underworld connections and boasted that his life would make a spectacular Hollywood movie. He even talked about penning his memoirs. "It would be number one on the <>New York Times<> bestseller list." But there's one aspect of his life he probably wouldn't want revealed in any book. Fainberg relishes putting women in their place. In one violent incident in Miami, undercover agents with the FBI and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency watched from a safe distance as he chased a stripper

the Total Information Awareness effort, headed by one John Poindexter, an
Iran-Contra Felon that, like so many others, escaped retribution and now
sits high up on the pyramid, under George W. Bush. Now that DARPA's spying
apparatus has been perfected, it too will pass into corporate hands though
it is publicly subsidized.  We have been handed the gun and we seem only

US makes 'weather control powder'

A company in the United States claims it has invented a powder that can be
used to remove clouds from the sky and even stop the development of
hurricanes.

They say the new product could help many areas of the world that are
subject to extreme weather conditions.

The Florida based company, Dyn-o-mat, used a military aircraft to drop four
tonnes of its powder on to a developing storm cloud.

The cloud disappeared from radar screens, which were monitoring the
experiment.

Officials from the company, which produces materials to absorb pollutants
such as oil and acids, say they used a specially developed powder that
absorbs large quantities of water.

'Completely safe'

The water is then turned into a gel before falling out of the sky.

The company says the gel is completely safe, bio-degradable, and breaks
down in seawater - though they refuse to say exactly what is in it.

Among the applications that it envisages for the powder are clearing away
clouds before sports fixtures and constraining the development hurricanes.

The company believes that a tightly controlled jet of the powder aimed at
the hurricane would cut it into smaller pieces, making it far less
threatening.

The US Government has already expressed interest in the new product, and
the company says it could be useful worldwide.

Israel 'faked al-Qaeda presence'

Officials from the Palestinian Authority have accused the Israeli spy
agency Mossad of setting up a fake al-Qaeda terrorist cell in Gaza.
Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat said that Israel had set up the mock cell
in order to justify attacks in Palestinian areas.

Raanan Gissin, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, called
the allegation "sheer nonsense".

On Thursday Mr Sharon said that members of Osama Bin Laden's al-Qaeda
terror network were at work in the Gaza Strip, aiming to attack Israel.

Israel has named al-Qaeda as the prime suspect in a suicide bombing at a
hotel in Mombasa, Kenya that killed 16 people last week and an unsuccessful
missile attack on a nearby Israeli passenger jet.

"It is a big, big, big lie to cover (Sharon's) attacks and his crimes
against our people everywhere," Mr Arafat said at his headquarters in the
West Bank city of Ramallah.

Communications traced

Colonel Rashid Abu-Shbak, the Palestinian head of preventative security,
said eight Palestinians had been approached from outside Gaza, and had been
asked by Israeli agents to work for al-Qaeda with offers of money and
weapons.

Colonel Abu-Shbak said the first approaches were made in March this year,
and that all communications had been traced back to Israeli intelligence.

He cited the case of one Palestinian militant who had been approached and
had been supplied with guns, and who was killed on his way to collect a
second consignment of weapons.

"We are sure that Israel is behind this and that there are absolutely no
groups such as al-Qaeda operating here," Colonel Abu-Shbak said.

"We can't say there will never be al-Qaeda here, but at least not for now,"
he added.

Mr Gissin said that the Palestinian accusations were propaganda and
disinformation put out by officials trying "to exonerate themselves from
the allegations they are collaborating and participating with terrorists".

US accusations

On Friday American media reported that al-Qaeda has set up a branch to help
Palestinian militant groups fight Israel, according to a website US
officials believe is linked to the organisation.

The new group has called for an end to inter-Palestinian feuding and has
vowed to launch suicide attacks against Israeli and American targets in the
Middle East, it said in a statement on the website, mojahedoon.net.

The Washington Post newspaper said United States officials believe the
website speaks for al-Qaeda, and that it is being monitored by US
intelligence agencies.

The Arabic-language website said al-Qaeda took responsibility for the
attacks in Kenya.

The website carried a statement purportedly from the new al-Qaeda branch -
the Islamic al-Qaeda in Palestine - pledging allegiance to Osama Bin Laden.

The group said it rejected any peace talks between Israel and the
Palestinian Authority, declaring it would accept "nothing but the full
liberation of the Palestinian land".

UN weapons inspector saw 'blueprints' for Monday's insurgency

DELMAR, N.Y. â In the Baghdad suburb of Abu Ghraib is a compound on an abandoned airstrip that once belonged to a state organization known as M-21, or the Special Operations Directorate of the Iraqi Intelligence Service. As a UN weapons inspector, I inspected this facility in June of 1996. We were looking for weapons of mass destruction (WMD). While I found no evidence of WMD, I did find an organization that specialized in the construction and employment of "improvised explosive devices" - the same IEDs that are now killing Americans daily in Iraq. When we entered the compound, three Iraqis tried to escape over a wall with documents, but they were caught and surrendered the papers. Like reams of other documents stacked inside the buildings, these papers dealt with IEDs. I held in my hands a photocopied primer on how to conduct a roadside ambush using IEDs, and others on how to construct IEDs from conventional high explosives and military munitions. The sophisticated plans - albeit with crude drawings - showed how to take out a convoy by disguising an IED and when and where to detonate it for maximum damage.


Because WMD was what we were charged with looking for, we weren't allowed to take notes on this kind of activity. But, when we returned to our cars, we carefully reconstructed everything we saw.

What I saw - and passed on to US intelligence agencies - were what might be called the blueprints of the postwar insurgency that the US now faces in Iraq. And they implied two important facts that US authorities must understand:

â The tools and tactics killing Americans today in Iraq are those of the former regime, not imported from abroad.

â The anti-US resistance in Iraq today is Iraqi in nature, and more broadly based and deeply rooted than acknowledged.

IEDs are a terrifying phenomenon to the American soldiers patrolling Iraq. The IED has transformed combat into an anonymous ambush, a nerve-racking game of highway roulette that has every American who enters a vehicle in Iraq today (whether it be the venerable, and increasingly vulnerable, Humvee, or an armored behemoth like the M-1 Abrams tank) wondering if this ride will be their last.

Far from representing the tactics of desperate foreign terrorists, IED attacks in Iraq can be traced to the very organizations most loyal to Saddam Hussein. M-21 wasn't the only unit trained in IEDs. During an inspection of the Iraqi Intelligence Service's training academy in Baghdad in April 1997, I saw classrooms for training all Iraqi covert agents in the black art of making and using IEDs. My notes recall tables piled with mockups of mines and grenades disguised in dolls, stuffed animals, and food containers - and classrooms for training in making car bombs and recruiting proxy agents for using explosives.

That same month, I inspected another facility, located near the wealthy Al Mansur district of Baghdad, that housed a combined unit of Hussein's personal security force and the Iraqi Intelligence Service. The mission of this unit was to track the movement and activities of every Iraqi residing in that neighborhood straddling the highway that links the presidential palace with Saddam International Airport.

A chilling realization overcame us when we entered a gymnasium-sized room and saw that the floors were painted in a giant map of the neighborhood. The streets were lined with stacked metallic "in-box" trays - each stack represented a house or apartment building. A three-story building, for example, contained three levels of trays; each tray contained dossiers on each citizen living on that floor. Similar units existed in other neighborhoods, including those deemed "anti-regime."

Hussein's government was - and its remnants are - intimately familiar with every square inch of Baghdad: who was loyal, where they live, and who they associated with. (The same can be said about all of Iraq, for that matter, even the Kurdish and Shiite regions.) This information allows officials from the remnants of Hussein's intelligence and security services to hide undetected among a sympathetic population. Indeed, a standard quotient among counterinsurgency experts is that for every 100 active insurgents fielded, there must be 1,000 to 10,000 active supporters in the local population.

Though the Bush administration consistently characterizes the nature of the enemy in Iraq as "terrorist," and identifies the leading culprits as "foreign fighters," the notion of Al Qaeda or Al Ansar al Islam using Baghdad (or any urban area in Iraq) as an independent base of operations is far-fetched. What title-deeds do the Jews of today actually have to the land of 'Israel'? The idea that a people can possess some kind of ethnic ancestral right to a territory supposedly vacated by their forebears some millenia previously, implying a right in perpetuity, can have no legal basis. Or otherwise Americans of European ancestry, to name just one group of people, will have to pack their bags.   

According to Dr Alfred Lilienthal in his book The Zionist Connection, "The Jewish population of Palestine [what is now Israel and the occupied territories, the West Bank and Gaza] at the time of the Balfour Declaration in 1917 was a mere 7 percent of the 700 000 inhabitants. The rest were Muslim and Christian Arabs·At the time of the (US-dominated UN) partition vote in 1947 there were only 650 000 Jews in Palestine while there were 1,3 million indigenous Palestinian Arabs, either Christian or Muslim. Under the partition plan, 56 % of Palestine was given for a Zionist state to people who constituted 33 % of the population and owned about 6 % [six percent] of the land· These UN figures have never been in dispute·"   

But there is a further issue, which also (YET AGAIN!) demonstrates the fundamentally questionable foundations of Zionism.   

Jews are actually not even the modern descendents of the Israel of the Biblical ÎOld Testamentâ:   

According to both the early-20th-Century popular historian H.G.Wells and the Hungarian-Jewish intellectual and author Arthur Koestler, amongst numerous others, the people known today as Jews are primarily the descendents of a Turkish tribe known as the Khazars. The Khazars have no historical connection to Palestine. They converted to ÎJudaismâ between 620 and 740AD, and have no genetic connection to biblical Israel, and hence to the narratives of the Bible and the ÎHoly Landâ. Koestler actually devoted an entire book called The Thirteenth Tribe (1976) to the fact that the Jews of eastern European origin, who are known as the Ashkenazi Jews and who make up about 95% of the Jewish population of today, are of Khazar origin. In other words - virtually all of the Jews of the modern world have no Hebrew ancestry, and no ancient connection with Palestine.   

Does it matter? Does world peace matter? Do the human rights of a violently oppressed people matter? Does anything but sport and television sitcoms matter?   

Arthur Koestler was by no means the first to draw attention to this particular issue. He quotes from twentieth-century works on the subject by, amongst others, Professors A.N.Poliak of Tel Aviv University, D.M.Dunlop of Columbia University in New York, and J.B.Bury of Cambridge University. The courageous Jewish anti-Zionist commentator Dr Alfred Lilienthal raised the issue fifty years ago and has continued to do so for decades. In fact, the famous H.G.Wells in the early 1920âs in his popular Outline of History described the Jews as Îa Turkish peopleâ and stated that Î(to the) Jewish Khazars.. are to be ascribed the great settlements of Jews in Poland and Russiaâ (chapt XXXII:8) and ÎThe main part of Jewry never was in Judea, and never came out of Judeaâ (XXIX:1).   

Lord Moyne the British secretary of state in Cairo declared on June 9, 1942, in the House of Lords that the Jews were not the descendants of the ancient Hebrews and that they had no "legitimate claim" on the Holy Land. A proponent of curtailing immigration into Palestine, he was accused of being "an implacable enemy of Hebrew independence."(Isaac Zaar, Rescue and Liberation: America's Part in the Birth of Israel, New York: Bloch, 1954, p. 115). On November 6, 1944, Lord Moyne was assassinated in Cairo by two members of the Stern Gang led by Yitzak Shamir, latter to become premier of ÎIsraelâ. (This assassination was not unique in the history of Zionism. In September 1948 Count Folke Bernadotte, appointed by the UN as mediator between the Zionist settlers in Palestine and the native Palestinians, was murdered on orders from the same Yitzhak Shamir. Count Bernadotte was the head of the Swedish Red Cross and had risked his life to save thousands of Jews from German concentration camps. This set a precedent and encouragement for the Zionist use of assassination as a convenient political instrument, which the US and European governments have in effect condoned since then.)

the weapons of mass destruction, the dark hint of links between Saddam Hussein 
and al-Qa'ida - has been shown to have been built on air.
Mr McGovern worked near the very top of his profession, giving direct advice 
to Henry Kissinger during the Nixon era and preparing the President's daily 
security brief for Ronald Reagan. Now he is co-founder of a group of former CIA 
employees called Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, or Vips for 
short.
What the Bush White House has done, he believes, is far worse than the false 
premise that dragged the United States into the Vietnam War - a reported second 
attack on a US destroyer in the Gulf of Tonkin which later turned out not to 
have taken place. "The Gulf of Tonkin was a spur-of-the-moment thing, and Lyndon 
Johnson seized on that. That's very different from the very calculated, 
18-month, orchestrated, incredibly cynical campaign of lies that we've seen to 
justify a war. This is an order of magnitude different. It's so blatant."
Mr McGovern accuses Mr Bush of an extraordinary act of chutzpah - taking 
advantage of his authority as President of the United States to make people 
believe there must be something to his insistent allegations that Iraq possessed 
potentially devastating weaponry.
"Many of us felt there had to be something there ... If this had been another 
country, one would have written a convincing analysis that this guy is lying 
through his teeth, that there are no weapons in Iraq. But people thought, the 
President can't say he knows something if he doesn't. That was persuasive, in a 
way.
"Now we know that no other President of the United States has ever lied so 
baldly and so often and so demonstrably ... The presumption now has to be that 
he's lying any time that he's saying anything."
It will, Mr McGovern believes, take a change of president and a change of CIA 
director to even begin to repair the damage done by what he sees as an overt 
politicisation of the intelligence business. But even that may not be 
enough.
"Unless what has happened in the past year and a half is recognised as a 
scandal, in which the CIA has been badly abused, then there's no hope," he said. 
"I pin my hopes mostly on the press these days. Turns out, surprise surprise, 
that even the US press doesn't like to be lied to."
