Actually this no longer needs to be true. If the list was switched to Egroups where I have managed five lists for several years. I am ruthless about lack of respect and have no problems maintaining an environment that is postive and educational. It is very easy to place offenders on moderation to moderate who comes on the list, and indeed to ban with little effort by the moderators. http://www.egroups.com and best of all it is a free service with an excellent archive, search engine and additional benefits for members such as chat, calender, file storage (not archives which is different) and more. If Kris ever decides to move over there I will be glad to assist with transition and integration. Working with a list serve is too unwieldy for me. -Caveat Lector- The answer is no most people are not taught how and considering the different anatomy types this lack of teaching is tragic because of the anguish it creates in people who believe they have problems when what is really going on is a clear understanding of the needs of each anatomy type. The truth is, this would accomplish a few things including increasing the safety of the issue of sexuality, because with this level of teaching comes the understanding that another is not responsible for my orgasm - so guilt, blame, shame games would be much more difficult to play as well as how people give away their power to each other. Yes since I have been taught the nuances of sexual types, styles, lover's masks, orgasm levels, etc life with all my partners is considerably more enjoyable, satisfactory, and fulfilling for all. There are spiritual sexuality teachings available out there for those who care enough to understand more. Not only did I take them but I also facilitated them and assisted with the teachings of several hundred people over many years. Where I disagree is that it should be the responsibility of the schools but what is also true is that because of the repression and the laws - at least in the US - it is never going to happen when there are children. It only happens when people are so tired of not understanding and being understood, so tired of the broken relationships where the same mistakes get made over and over again, so tired of being blamed for not being able to please another successfully and understand the difference and the choices with the styles of relationship choices, relationship agreements, intimacy levels that they become literally driven to overcome their fears and repression's to seek teachings and teachers like this out. She came in to the ARC at a time the organization was going down the tubes because of the blood services fiasco. Her first year's salary was given back to the organization. She has spent less then 25 percent of her time in that cushy office. In the 8 years she was there, her specific efforts generated 187 million dollar turn around of donations to an organization responsible for providing food, clothing, shelter, medical supplies to people who just lost everything they owned for the first stage of disaster response. I had to laugh because CNN commentators were saying how she couldn't have much of a chance because she has no political connections or fundraising potential. My God, they dont have a clue how much grass roots she already has behind her across the united state. also if one is interested in facts. Take a look at the Corporate and Individual donors that have contributed - NOT to the local chapter but the NATIONAL organization out of washington D.C. Have you seen the sponsors behind the national programs? None of these were there before her efforts. I invite you to call the national Red Cross fund raising office and ask them to send you the article that was written about the break down of her salary against the specific donor she personally brought in. Her yearly revenue comes to about 12,000 dollars. Finally, I cant wait to see her up against her opponents who only see a southern magnolia. I guarantee that she will NEVER resort to mud slinging, AND I have see her rip someone's that out and keep moving - and the people still think they are breathing because she never skipped a beat of sweetness and genteelism. There is absolute cold steel in that magnolia!!
