I meant martial law in the D. C. area only as that is pretty much a
certainty at this point. I am also thankful that he was able to
get through as the phone circuits are jammed. We should expect
phone disruptions if close enough to major operations or switching
of circuits to re-route calls.

I heard from my son is D. C. and he is OK, allowed to go home with
all federal buildings evacuated. Other than the news on major
media, he said there had been a car bomb at the State Department.
He and his wife have gone for food as they anticipate martial law
being declared soon and in effect until the danger appears to have
passed. Thanks for all the inquiries and kind words. I know we
are all saddened by these events.
