This is very sad.
A homoeopath in Colombia is lamenting a dramatic increase in CFS "chronic
fatigue syndrome," which is known to be associated with chemical/biological
warfare agents,

Also noted in some persons "diagnosed" with the catch-all set of symptoms
which the medical establishment has helplessly named "chronic fatigue
syndrome" is mercury toxicity.

AS in any other homoeopathic treatment, it is quite important to REMOVE
OBSTACLES to cure, wherever possible, especially if these obstacles may be
proximate "cause" of dis-ease.
Quite a few persons "diagnosed" with "CFS" have become well simply from
abstaining from neurotoxic poisoning by-way-of Diet Coke and other products
containing ASPARTAME.
Beyond this, there is no denying that trying to sort out the complex
symptoms of the made-up syndrome name "CFS" can be difficult ("a pain" as
our colleague in Colombia says ;) ... but if we are intent on helping
someone with a list of somewhat debilitating symptoms that may be
collectively referred to as "CFS" there is only one way to do so as a
homoeopath.
Each case is unique, and unlike many cases in which there are general
symptoms "of the disease" which would naturally be of less importance than
specific-to-the-individual symptoms it would seem that we would need to
attempt to fully characterize all notable symptoms until a good
characterization of a remedy from our materia medica comes into sight.
Also may be helpful to note the physical M/E details specific to the
individual which may NOT be specifically related to "dis-ease," but which
will help to identify the individual's predispostion in terms of chronic
miasm, to better select a remedy which may be expected to act most deeply in
getting at the heart of the problem otherwise we may have limited
success chasing symptoms around until we "happen" to come upon a remedy that
addresses the underlying flaw in the constitution.

"Useful to the physician in assisting him to cure are the particulars of the
most probable exciting cause of the acute disease, as also
the most significant points in the whole history of the chronic disease, to
enable him to discover its fundamental cause, which is generally due
to a chronic miasm.
In these investigations, the ascertainable physical constitution of the
patient (especially when the disease is chronic), his moral and intellectual
character, his occupation, mode of living and habits, his social and
domestic
relations, his age, sexual function, c., are to be taken into
consideration."

Some of these cases seem to have a great deal of emotional debility- grief
and strong sense of 'victimization'..
Some of these cases bring the acidums to mind.
Many of these cases may be slow onset, but reach states of great debility-
this may give some clues to identify likely remedies- some of the metals
perhaps?
