Now that buzz is stronger than anything I heard before 9-11--and it's getting still stronger!There's chatter about US Navy deployments. Apparently, all but one operational aircraft carriers have been deployed. I fear something very big and very ugly is about to happen.The West Coast terrorist nuke?Seattle? San Francisco? LA?I'd bet on Seattle, especially if it's sold as a North Korean missile. Largest US city closest to North Korea, likely to be more identified as "typically American Regardless, the Boeing company seems to be diversified away from Seattle. E.g. Boeing World Headquarters is now located in Chicago, Illinois; Boeing assembles the 737 and 757 in Renton, WA, but it's announced plans to close the 757 line... And, yes, I do know Boeing's stated rational(s). But sometimes it is the tail that wags the dog.Another possibility is Anchorage, Alaska. It's within the reported range of current home-grown North Korean missiles. But Seattle is likely to be perceived as the more typical American city, and the population of Seattle's King County, population: 1¾ million vs. the Anchorage area's 260,000 quarter-million. The much higher death toll from a Russian/Chinese-cum-NKorean ICBM hit on the Seattle area would cause more overall trauma throughout the US; thereby furthering acceptance of the intended Hegelian consequences: sharply-draconian reductions in liberty and the stage-setting for ever-the-more catastrophic actions.An alternative to the West Coast nuke."New Lies For Old," (1984) by Soviet defector, KGB Major Anatoliy Golitsyn, featured a plethora of world event predictions based on Golitsyn's assignment in long-term Soviet plans. When I first read the book some seven years ago, those predictions were about 94% correct. Today that success rate is above 99%. One yet unfulfilled is a major "terrorist" attack (nuclear?) on an American overseas military installation. I would suppose this could include a large US Navy vessel, or a multiple-warship task force.Immediately before 9-11-01 there was much selling-short of stocks from firms which would be hurt by the disaster.
