Freeh be censured. The agents had conducted a probe into the 1992 Ruby Riege siege in Idaho. They faulted Freeh and three FBI veterans for their handling of the debacle. The agents claim they were subsequently subjected to threats and retaliation for their criticism. The Justice Department will be investigating if one agent's career was derailed as a result. Although the agents proposed censure for Freeh in 1999, it was quietly rejected by a former member of the Clinton administration in January. Congress wasn't made aware of the rejection until last month. Freeh could be interviewed by investigators, officials told The Washington Post. The probe is being headed by Inspector General Glenn A.
