I wonder why Hatch thinks the matter is partisan, and that Dems wouldn't
join.  I'm certainly a Democrat, and I would love to see the DOJ pushed to
the wall on this one.  No, I'm not talking about Janet Reno.  Big Stupe
doesn't really mean a thing in this matter.  It was the FBI that managed this
coup, and I don't care which party is in; the FBI is a force onto themselves.
 It's about time, someone made them answerable to the American people.  Prudy

Sen. Robert Torricelli of New Jersey, the ranking Democrat on the
Subcommittee on Administrative Oversight and the Courts, will
ride shotgun on the investigation. Mr. Torricelli has been
critical of Ms. Reno's performance, particularly in light of new
Waco revelations. But he said Thursday that he is starting the
subcommittee inquiry with an open mind.

"The best antidote for what has gone wrong is the truth," Mr.
Torricelli said.


Specter!  Torricelli!!  Nonpartisan!

Oh BLEEEAH!  The fix is in.  This is gonna go nowhere.
