Mon iSight est branchee non-stop sur mon PowerBook
ainsi que mon hd externe dans le quel j'ai branche
mon iPod.
Je n'ai jamais eu le *moindre* probleme Firewire
(je ne savais meme pas qu'il y en avait un, je ne
sais pas d'ou vient son info ... ou sa rumeur ;-).
Par ailleurs, il suffit de lui tourner l'iris pour
qu'elle soit inactive. Moi je n'hesiterais pas pour
la iSight, surtout quand tu vois les problemes de
pilotes avec lequel vous vous debattez depuis des
jours pour des webcam USB obsoletes.

A ta place j'attendrais le prochain modele et je l'acheterais
le jour de sa sortie, de cette maniere tu maximise la duree
de vie psychologique.
Le PowerBook 17" est en fin de vie car le prochain Powerbook
integrera probablement un G5, cela dit, il faudra attendre
encore au moins 18 mois avant de l'avoir entre tes mains.
Si tu n'as pas envie d'attendre deux ans, achete immediatement
un 17" car c'est une excellente machine qui me ravis chaque jour,
sauf lorsque je dois me deplacer car elle est assez lourde.

L'autofocus temps reel, le processeur embede qui gere la
balance de blancs en temps reel, le debit firewire, la
qualite non compressee, la qualite, la stabiliteet la
grande compatibilite avec toutes les application quicktime

de fixations bien penses.

réinstallé Macam.
Ben depuis lors ma caméra (Philips ToUcam Pro) qui fonctionnait bien

Les appli qui font appellent à la caméra ne s'ouvrent plus et restent
rebondissantes dans le dock.
Et plus emmerdant mes deux machines ne passent plus l'étape

Il faut absolument qu'elle soit déconnectée pour que le mac boot
normalement (je passe par la fenêtre d'identification et pas en
ouverture de session automatique).

comme
message et une demande de log et password. Ensuite le cours normal du
démarrage à suivi.

Bref j'en ai ras-le bol de cette histoire.
Quelqu'un utilise t'il une webcam de préférence qui est livrée avec

publication automatique d'image sur une page web.

Le plus étrange c'esrt que Macam fonctionne bien, lui il parvient à 
se
brancher sur la webcam
En désepoir de cause je me rabattrai sur une webcam firewire. Mais 
bon
ça coute ces petites choses.
