The Police Report states quite clearly that the only shot fired after Ryan entered the school was the suicide shot. On the other hand, he was in the school for a considerable time before the police located him. From: "Tom Charnock", [EMAIL PROTECTED] Earl I live NNeast of Hungerford and on the day of Ryans killings there was fast and low military chopper activity with the incoming 2 choppers (about lunch time) coming in from the direction of Cirencester. This would give them a goodish direct route from/to Hereford and brings them between the MATZs of Fairford (tanker base) and Lynham (transporter base) When choppers run this path we can get them down to a "couple of trees" height, so guess as not that often (2 - 3 a month) it would have to be someone with "clout". Locally, the gossip is that Ryan was "taken out" by SAS team and not suicide as in papers. Reports of his flak jacket having half dozen holes. The claimed self inflicted gun shot done to cover tracks. Remember that no Public Inquiry held, and autopsy details (other than mention in the Report) not available Tom -- Well that last bit really is fantasy, there was press in attendance outside the school, unless the SAS has mastered the art of invisibility.
