Crazy, i installed almost all packages but it is missing.. There is no independent package for vi, right? Sorry for the attachment as i know some hate to see them in emails..This is my first try of the command 'shutdown', and it did close the windows applications right away, but you can see that it can't close Cygwin..Is it supposed to be so ? Does the current version Cygwin include any games already ? i remember i saw 'games' somewhere when i updated it. how to open *.htm and *.lnk
At the moment, my way to open an htm file is to put its name in a DOS batch file, and then run the batchfile, which makes things complicated; but by no way can i open an lnk. Any simpler methods ? I ran its setup script (named 'doconfig', originally in Csh, and i just
changed the first line to Tcsh since Csh is not included in Cygwin
distribution yet) on Cygwin, and the err msg is:
$./doconfig
./xgcc: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
./xgcc: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
What have i done wrong?

I can't get 'shutdown' installed. The 'shutdown' command should be included in the 'shutdown' package? but i ddin't see this package among those i have downloaded this afternoon. I checked all the mirror sites in North America, and 2 in UK, none of them includes that package. Another question, does Cygwin include an Ada compiler?
