Re: How do I make my Emacs font match my xterm font?

I ended up downloading xlsfonts, and after a little trial-and-error,
this appears to be the matching font:

-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--0-0-75-75-c-0-iso8859-1

So I have a new Emacs font, which for some reason seems smaller than
before, but it's certainly usable.

Thanks, Ken. I tried, but it did not fix the problem.

I'm not positive, but I think you might need to install
xorg-x11-fonts-Type1.

How do I make my Emacs font match my xterm font?

2015-09-24 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
After the recent fonts reorganization, the font I (used to ) specify
for Emacs in my ~/.Xresources file no longer works:

Font `-adobe-courier-medium-r-*-*-*-96-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1' is not defined

Emacs will work if I comment out the font, albeit with a different
font and character size. My xterm font seems unchanged.

Ideally, what I would like is for my Emacs font to exactly match my
xterm font. How can I go about doing this?

Thanks - Jim
