Did you use cron-config to configure cron?

If the problem persists run cronbug and send the output as an attachment.

Pierre,

I'm trying it now. No, I didn't know this was the preferred method of
installing cron as a service. I've been installing/reinstalling
everything from the cygwin *setup.exe*.

I've looked at the log files and they seem pretty unremarkable. I'll run
cronbug after I try the cron-config command.

Thanks very much for your time and support...

OK, I see that you are running cron as yourself (Administrator).

The problem is that you have several cron running, probably from
the time when you were running cron manually
2116 1 2116 2116 ? 500 13:49:24 /usr/sbin/cron

I 3664 2116 2116 3664 ? 500 05:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron

I 3896 2116 2116 3896 ? 500 05:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron

I 3464 2116 2116 3464 ? 500 06:00:01 /usr/sbin/cron

Kill them all and run cron-config again, keeping (not removing) the existing
service.

Pierre
