USB Drive Letter Manager (Small adverticement. Sorry if you find it abusive.)

2010-08-19 Thread Andrey Repin
Greetings, All!

I've been pointed to this (without a doubt) exceptional piece of software.
http://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbdlm_e.html

I'm toying with it now, but what I find in it, what would be most attractive
to the Cygwin community, is it's ability to mount removable drives as NTFS
reparse points.
However, it is not coming without a certain drawbacks, so read the shipped
help file carefully before use.

USBDLM is Freeware for private and educational (schools, colleges,
universities) use only.

This doesn't really seem to have anything to do with Cygwin. I wouldn't
want to start encouraging the advertisement of nifty windows utilities
here. That's really not what this mailing list is for.
