Re: Proposal singular-3.0.0-1

I would include the XEmacs interface with the base package, but strip out the winhelp file to be available via seperate download. And put the X stuff in a seperate package. But not named like ESingular, better like Singular-xxx I don't think ntl/doc/*.txt needs to be there, since they are the same as the headers. several hardcoded /usr/local/bin/ paths should be fixed (latex) -- Reini Urban http://xarch.tu-graz.ac.at/home/rurban/ http://phpwiki.org/

And the above filesize and md5sum come from something else, 5.3.0-6(?) not 5.2.1-5. Anyway you have to edit it setup.ini manually to get back to a previous working configuration of: coreutils 5.2.1-5 cygwin 1.5.17-1 bash 2.05b-17 That is to say if you go to cygwin-1.5.18 there is no way back unless I missed something. -- J Lambert

I already asked, more than a week ago, for 5.3.0-7 to be removed from the mirrors for the very reason that if you downgrade cygwin, you also have to downgrade coreutils to something that was compiled prior to 1.5.18 (such as 5.2.1-5). Upload: bash-3.0-9
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Changes from 3.0-8: + fix postinstall script to not nuke sh.1 man page + once again, dynamically link against libreadline, now that it has a hook to allow bash to override getenv() + apply patch from Keith Reynolds to use spawnve() where possible. I noticed some speedup, but not like the 50% he reported at http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-bash/2005-07/msg00123.html Because libreadline6-5.0-3 is still marked test, this version is also in test, leaving bash-3.0-8 as the current version.
