Hey! What a question! Sure we are really happy to get any help.
Documentation is some of the stuff where a helping hand is always
 welcome.

I'll take that as a yes then :) Like I said, I'm a bit busy at the moment
with other things but I'll give you a shout when I've got some time
(probably early January the way things are going here).

Carl

I just downloaded them again but for some reason nothing has changed.
Are you sure you've uploaded the correct files???

 EEK! Erm, I'll just check

I've just pulled them down from straylight.eu.org/~carl/figlet/ and they're
definitely updated. Are you sure you're not getting a cached version?

Hmm, I thought of that, too and cleared my local cache and restarted
the browser and everything. Yes, I had a cached version. Grr.

Anyway, everything's fine now. I have uploaded figlet to cygwin.com.

Oh, I have removed the `test' marker from setup.hint since it's
not necessary here (methinks). It's just the first version of
that package, that's all.

You might consider to send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
in a few hours. Please keep the format as you will find it in
the cygwin-announce mailing list archive. The announcement will
automatically be propageted to the cygwin mailing list as soon as
it has been approved so you don't need to send a second announcement
to the base list.

Thanks for the new package,
Corinna

Um, the sdesc is still incorrect. Look at the sdescs at
http://cygwin.com/packages/. You should see what I mean. I rectified
the description in the setup.hint.

The sdesc line is what is displayed by setup.exe. With the pervious
layout it would look like something like this:

figlet 2.2-1 figlet: figlet 2.2 EXPERIMENTAL

This doesn't explain what figlet does in any way.

This is why, in the future, I want a corrected setup.hint posted to
cygwin-apps for discussion. This is a small enough file that there is
no need to have a URL posted to it.

I'd like at least two maintainers to sign off on the setup.hint before
the package itself is accepted.

Consider this a rite of passage.
