I must have missed it, else I would have uploaded it.

Should I upload it now or is an update needed?

I see now "all it needs is a GTG review", Volker could you
do a short review?

Already done

http://sourceware.org/ml/cygwin-apps/2004-12/msg3.html
http://sourceware.org/ml/cygwin-apps/2004-12/msg2.html

There are patches for both packages on the cygnome site which fixes some
module loading (cyg.dll) problems .

I saw this already, so I wait until Yaakov posts an updated package
with the module loader stuff fixed.

BTW, I have similar problems in one of the tests for the latest
glib2 (library names hardcoded in the source), even in the glib2
test they don't use their own module loader interface...

Please test the following:

http://cygwin-ports.sourceforge.net/install/temp/gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf-0.22.0-2-src.tar.bz2
http://cygwin-ports.sourceforge.net/install/temp/gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf-0.22.0-2.tar.bz2
http://cygwin-ports.sourceforge.net/install/temp/gdk-pixbuf/setup.hint

http://cygwin-ports.sourceforge.net/install/temp/imlib/imlib-1.9.14-2-src.tar.bz2
http://cygwin-ports.sourceforge.net/install/temp/imlib/imlib-1.9.14-2.tar.bz2
http://cygwin-ports.sourceforge.net/install/temp/imlib/setup.hint

Please note that this gdk-pixbuf package includes libgnomecanvaspixbuf,
which depends on gnome-libs-1.4.2, which I have built but have yet to
propose; libgdk_pixbuf still only requires gdk (don't confuse this with
libgdk_pixbuf-2.0, which only requires glib2).

I have built the full set of GNOME 1.4 application libraries. While I
can't guarantee that they work *perfectly*, they've been working pretty
well on my system. They are:

bonobo 1.0.22-1
control-center 1.4.0.5-1
gal 0.24-1
GConf1 1.0.9-1
gdk-pixbuf 0.22.0-2
gnome-libs 1.4.2-1
gnome-print 0.37-1
gnome-vfs1.0.5-1
gnomemm 1.2.4-1
gtk-engines 0.12-1
gtkglarea1.2.3-1
gtkhtml111.1.10-1
gtkmm1.2.8-2
guppi0.40.3-1
imlib1.9.14-2
libghttp 1.0.9-1
libglade 0.17-1
libIDL 0.6.8-1
(the current libIDL package should be renamed libIDL2)
libsigc++10  1.0.4-1
oaf 0.6.10-1
ORBit0.5.17-1

I don't know how much interest there is in all of these, so I'll let
people speak up. If there's interest in at least some, then I could
propose gnome-libs before reconsidering gdk-pixbuf.

I think it would be nice to have them in the distro.
