Take a look at the Cygwin web page and look for Setup Package Search in the left toolbar. Clicking on this is how you find what packages are available. FWIW, we don't provide a Java SDK. cgf -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/ FAQ: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/faq/

Daniel Newhouse wrote: The title says it all. I don't want to download a new version unless I get Java 1.5 or better. There is neither a dependency of Cygwin on Java nor a Java package for Cygwin. If neither of these is what you're looking for, please clarify your inquiry. -- Larry Hall http://www.rfk.com RFK Partners, Inc. (508) 893-9779 - RFK Office 216 Dalton Rd. I assumed that meant that cygwin must have a Java SDK package. You can run non-cygwin applications from Cygwin's bash. If you can compile and run java from the command line then you should be able to figure out what version of the Java SDK you have. If you can't get the version via the command line then you should be able to find out what version is installed via the Control Panel. In any event, to reiterate, we don't provide a Java SDK. cgf -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/ FAQ: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/faq/

Wmaker 0.92 Install Error
Greetings Everyone, I seem to have encountered the undefined reference to Xsetlocale issue while trying to upgrade to Wmaker 0.92. I read though all of the past emails on this issue but no one seemed to have a clear answer as to how to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.
