xfs crashes

2003-06-24 Thread U-SORCERER\\Administrator
Hi,

The xfs daemon seems to crash on my system. When I start it and try to run xfsinfo, I
get a core dump. I tried to recompile it from the sources and the same thing happens.
Only when I turn off optimization in the xfs top Makefile (but I kept -O2 in the difs
and os ones) was I able to build an xfs.exe that does not crash.
I am using gcc 3.2 20020927 (prerelease).
Is that a bug in the distribution?

Thanks

Niko

Hi All,

Thanks :-) for the responses ...but I'm still unsuccessful.

I did try

XWin -query -from

but no luck yetHere's my XWin.log file. To those folks who are able to
run remote HP CDE sessions ( I be ;-) ), did you have to
do
any special configuration, or tweak any prop files or something.

Once again :-) thanks in advance.

regards George
