Radiohead recorded the fourteen-track Hail in Oxfordshire, England, and Los Angeles. They produced the album with Nigel Godrich, a Radiohead collaborator since 1995's The Bends. Hail follows Radiohead's most experimental albums, Amnesiac and 2000's Kid A. Both records found the band exploring more abstract soundscapes, after the success of 1997's lavishly produced guitar-rock album, OK Computer.
The band has lined up a seven-date tour of the U.K. and Ireland to launch in Dublin on May 17th. A June 28th appearance at the Glastonbury Festival is also on the docket, with a North American tour set for the late summer/early fall.
