Apprciate it.  Thanks.  I've applied this to both master and the 2.4
release branch.  Good timing, you'll make it into the next stable
release :)

P.S. do you feel like doing any stability work with our BDB
 implementation?  I have a feeling there are bugs still
 floating in that DB interface code.

Well, I needed that for uploading cyrus-imapd-2.4 2.4.6-1 to debian
experimental :).

I am not sure if I am up to the task right now. But since I am going
to adopt bdb packages in Debian I guess you can ask me later :).
