This was caused by the interesting fact that a detached thread still counts
towards the "A thread exited while %d threads were running" warning, in
violation of the docs:

If the program exits without all other threads having been either joined or
detached, then a warning will be issued

The change below fixes it by splitting the active thread count into active
threads and joinable active threads
