Re: [darktable-dev] 2.6.0rc1 random crashes while denoising
Hi Pascal, I denoised each image separately in darkroom. For each image I would do exposure adjustment, rotation and crop, then denoise. The first image I did it to resulted in a crash. I thought it was a fluke, so I restarted and kept denoising each image after I had made the exposure and crop adjustments. Three images later I got another crash. I ran through another 49 images and got 3 more crashes, with no discernible pattern. After that I edited the next 53 images without denoising them, then went to lightroom and selected them all, and that worked fine. I finished editing the batch (~120 images) and denoised them as a batch with no problem. Information about my system 8 cores opencl 16GB Ubuntu 18.04 I'll do some further testing and see what else I can figure out. [darktable-dev] White background CSS for darktable?
Hi, IIRC, the improvement to the CSS customizability in the future 2.6 were partly done to allow a CSS with a white background (and avoid white foreground with white background). For the article about the release on the website, I'd like to provide an example CSS with such white background. Has anyone written such CSS? Re: [darktable-dev] 2.6.0rc1 Issue with Windows
Can you describe the issue more clearly? Provide a screenshot if it's a messagebox or start darktable from command prompt (terminal) and send the exact output? I just tried on my windows 10 box and DT starts up without any flaws. Cheers Am So., 9. Re: [darktable-dev] 2.6.0rc1 random crashes while denoising
And of course it would have been too easy if I was able to reproduce! I've just applied your style to 50 images. No crash! Maybe this happens only on some images? The same 5? Anyway all additional information to reproduce would be welcomed. Re: [darktable-dev] 2.6.0rc1 random crashes while denoising
Hi Bill, >From the backtrace it seems to me that we have this scenario: - you have selected 53 pictures - you applied the profile denoise style - while dt was processing the pictures you've open/closed some module in the darkroom. Is that correct? -- Pascal Obry / Magny Les Hameaux (78) The best way to travel is by means of imagination http://www.obry.net gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-key F949BD3B ___ darktable developer mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-dev+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org
