[darktable-user] 16bit PNG in 2.4.0-rc2
Hi, I just played a little bit with the rc2. I exported 16bit PNG but got 8bit according to gimp-2.9.8. I checked with TIF an TIF is fine except for some picture showing artefacts with 16bit TIF. DT at leats creates a 16bit TIFF and a 32bit Fließkomma TIF as well (according to gimp 2.9.8. Whats wrong with 16bit PNG? Matthias PS I am running Manjaro - uptodate. darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-user+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org

Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.3 LTS 64-Bi The ppa of Dariusz Duma for other tools on the system with darktable 2.4.0rc2 is installed. I use 2 versions of darktable on two systems: 1- 2.2.5 without opencl and no additional driver and 2- 2.4.0rc2 with opencl and amdgpu-pro-17.50 the camera I use is a Fuji X-E1 and the standard zoom XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS. [darktable-user] openCL darktable - amddgpu-pro Radeon RX 460 and Ubuntu 16.04.03
Hi, I have Intel® Core™ i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz × 4 and a AMD RX560 Radeon MSI 4GB. Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.3 LTS 64-Bit I had/have also problems, with my graphics but not with opencl and darktable. I used sudo usermod -a -G video $LOGNAME ./amdgpu-pro-install --opencl=legacy and it works. my other graphic problem is, I can not use my second monitor any more, there is no second monitor in my GUI panel monitors, but it doesn't bother me , because I use darktable on a own installation.
