Re: [datameet] COVID-19 Vaccination centres data for Karnataka/Bengaluru?

Hi Rajesvari,

Thanks for the amazing interactive map for COVID-19 vaccination centers. I
was wondering about the lack of coordinates in some states like West
Bengal, Rajasthan, Odisha etc.

Hope you're all keeping well and staying safe!

The best place to discuss this is here -

There are Wikidata contributors who had been working on this, who might
respond there.

Re: [datameet] How about One Mega Collection for all the Datasets we collect!

2020-03-02 Thread Bodhisattwa Mandal
Hi,

Wikidata can be a place to insert the datasets through OpenRefine and other
tools. The data put there can be easily searchable through Wikidata query
service. The database is free and open to everyone and is one of the best
platform for linked data.

Datameet generated data are already being ingested into Wikidata for some
part of the country already.

[datameet] coordinates of bank branches

2019-07-30 Thread Bodhisattwa Mandal
Hi,

In Wikidata, I am currently adding data on bank branches operating in
India. Can someone create excel sheets of coordinates of bank branches with
a corresponding column of IFSC.

Regards,
Bodhisattwa

Hi,

Here is a list generated from Wikidata built by SPARQL query.

[datameet] Coordinates needed

2019-02-12 Thread Bodhisattwa Mandal
Hi all,

I am a volunteer contributor in Wikidata. Recently, we are working to
increase data about villages, schools, colleges, hospitals etc. in West
Bengal. The details can be found here -
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_West_Bengal .

Now, the database, which we are working on about schools, colleges and post
offices are missing coordinates and hence we are hesitant to upload them to
Wikidata. It would be great, if it is possible for you to use your
expertise and get us the coordinates, then we can match and upload the data
into Wikidata.

Thanks in advance,
Bodhisattwa
