Re: [External Email] [datameet] 1991 district handbooks
Yeah, those are what I have too, but there should be atleast ~440 of these and I'm wondering if any other website hosts the remaining districts. Hi All, Does anyone know where to find the digitised district handbooks for the 1991 census? I know it used to be hosted here: http://lsi.gov.in:8081/jspui/handle/123456789/800, but the site seems to be down right now. Re: [datameet] Bihar Panchayat Elections '21 Results Data
TCPD just came out with their Urban Local Bodies Dataset (documentation here <https://github.com/tcpd/Urban_Local_Body/blob/main/tcpd_casi_ulb_codebook_v1.0.pdf>) and have info on state/central elections updated regularly here <https://tcpd.ashoka.edu.in/lok-dhaba/>. I'd write to them, they'd either have it or point you to the right government websites to download it from. Hope this helps, Kritarth On Fri, 8 Jul 2022 at 08:01, Aryan Srivastava wrote: > Hello, > > A team of researchers and I are looking for data on Bihar Panchayat > Elections 2021. Re: [datameet] Historical City Level Indian Railways Maps
Ah yes! This paper is really cool! However i haven't been able to find the actual map images on this. It does seem like a lot of this data comes from the source "History of Indian Railways, Constructed and in Progress (1918 and 1966 volumes)" but i don't know where to access/buy these. I've asked IRFCA regarding the same too, i'll keep this thread updated if I find the maps. [datameet] Historical City Level Indian Railways Maps
Hi Everyone, Just writing in case anyone has leads for (preferably high resolution) city-level historical railway maps for Indian Cities. Theoretically, there should be some of these in British Residencies/Libraries scattered all over. Wondering if someone has come across this and digitized it before. Ideally what I'm intending to see is how a railway system cuts up cities into neighborhoods if any in prominent Indian Cities.
