Hi,

I want to use the M1(mic) on DM365 EVM as sound input. I modified the demo application to read data from MIC (M1) and write it to a file by commenting the encode call and its working fine. But when I modified and run the encode application to use new sound device with the command ./encode -s test.g711, it could not encode and giving following errors:

*Error: Failed to encode speech buffer (Demo application prints)*
*SPHENC1_process() failed with error (-1 ext: 0xa) (Print kept in DMAI source code)

*If I use the default kernel and the default sound device to run the encode application, it will run well.
Can anyone tell me what is going wrong with the encoding in case of M1(mic)?

Regards,
Krunal Patil
