[dba-issues] [Issue 116116] Evolution webdav and couc hdb addressbooks should be visible in OOo
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=116116 Issue #|116116 Summary|Evolution webdav and couchdb addressbooks should be vi |sible in OOo Component|Database access Version|1.0.0 Platform|All URL| OS/Version|Linux Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|ENHANCEMENT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|MySQL Connector/OOo Assigned to|dbaneedsconfirm Reported by|davidcsterratt --- Additional comments from davidcsterr...@openoffice.org Mon Dec 13 23:29:20 + 2010 --- I have been trying to print labels from Writer using my evolution address book, which uses the evolution-data-server webdav backend. However, tables in the webdav backend aren't visible in evolution; only the file, ldap and groupwise backends are visible. Also, the recently introduced couchdb backend is not visible in OOo. Assuming the e-d-s provides the same view onto its webdav and couchdb backends, the old patch here: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=34220 suggests that it would be fairly simple to modify this file: http://dba.openoffice.org/source/browse/*checkout*/dba/dbaccess/source/ui/dlg/dbwizsetup.cxx?rev=1.35 and possibly some other files, so as to include the webdav and couchdb backends. Would this be fairly straightforward? I would have a go at a patch myself, but I don't have time to get to grips with the build process at the moment.
