Oh, that's nice. So I'll stick with stunnel for the moment, just 
compiled it tonight it's painless.
Why I don't want to compile myself is because I don't know about 
security updates then, that's why I prefer to stick with maintained 
packages.

Thanks to the others too, I'll look at nginx for other reasons also.

[Dbmail] stunnel replacement

In openSUSE 10.2, I used stunnel to provide pop3s/imaps, but that 
package isn't anymore in 11.1. Anybody got an idea what I could use 
instead? It would be best if it's included in os11.1, makes life easier 
;-)

Works as IMAP/POP3-Proxy, supprts additional auth-mechanisms and for both ssl
Instead of stunnel TLS is here also available on standardports

Packages are nice, but I never restrict myself to just the available 
packages. If it isn't available as a package for a production box, then 
test in dev real quick, then get it compiled in production and move on.

nginx is very good for imap/pop3/smtp (ssl, tsl) proxing
