[Debconf-discuss] Workshop about triaging bugs in Debian
Hi! Someone was interested to know more about bug triaging in Debian, so I'll do a session about that - maybe Friday afternoon? If you're interested, please let me know! I think it will be very great if there are 4-5 people, it can work up to 10 if so many are interested. I doubt there are more, but in case, we can do 2 sessions :) Cheers! [Debconf-discuss] flyers for upcoming events
We are organizing another conference "netdev 2.2" in November, about the networking subsystem of the Linux kernel. Is it OK if we bring a bunch of flyers for it? Are you going to have a place to put flyers/cards for upcoming events, like the IETF does? I'm pretty sure there are some people around here who'd like to run [0]. I'll go tomorrowmorning, likely at around 06:30, for about 45 minutes, for about 10 km. Anybody would like to join? May be at *that* time physics students conferences were the most crazy ones. :-P One of the attendees did it like me - and you will admit if you have seen this you will not forget. My enhancement was just to let people pick a favourite image from a set. ;-) Tiago, I would love to see you and me impersonating our wifes. :-P See you Andreas. > On Wed, Aug 02, 2017 at 01:57:52AM +0200, Andreas Tille wrote: > > Hi folks, > > > > those who are at DebCamp noticed that I'm running around impersonating > > either my wife or my daughter. [Debconf-discuss] visiting leonard cohen's grave
Hi, Anybody in for joining me visiting Leonard Cohen's grave? He was a canadian singer, passed away less then a year ago. He was jewish (and a buddhist monk). He's burried on Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery ( https://www.shaarhashomayim.org/cemetery ), on the norhern slope of Mount Royal. That's somewhat near Edouard Montpetit metro station. (His grave is unmarked; he is burried next to his parents Nathan Bernard Cohen 1891-1944 and mother Marcha Klonitsky Cohen 1905-1978, as well as some other family members.) If interested, please drop me a line. I plan to go soonish; today or tomorrow.
