Chris,

I know its a volunteer-based run event and really appreciated all the hard
work they have done as I'm also contributors to open source and always
volunteer whenever chance.

Let me know if I can deliver any help.

Keep up the good work and cheers for all volunteers.

We are taking too long. Sadly, you never offered help for us to make
it shorter.

Mehul,

Whilst I can understand your frustration, determination and motivation
to learn the schedule of talks, asking in an almost-aggressive manner is
unlikely to have the effect you deire. Please refrain from doing this. :)

Please remember that DebConf is a volunteer-run event and the
organisers have lives and a real-life jobs outside. Please do remain
patient, I am sure that they will be announced soon…

Hello,

(emphasis mine)

Based on Gunnar's previous email I'd expect it relatively soon, but it's
currently 9:30AM Wednesday in Mexico City.

Please continue to be patient. We all want it to be ready as soon as
possible :).

Thanks,
Taowa

Hello Team,

When are you going to share the next approved talks? It's already the 11th
of July.

Don't you think you guys are taking so much time? Please update asap.

Thanks.

Re: rent a bike

2018-07-11 Thread Louis-Philippe Véronneau
Since I'm staying in Taiwan for a while, I bought a bike in Carrefour (a
large super marker chain) for 3200 $NTD (90 EUR). Came with a 1 year
warranty and a lock!

I guess that's also a reasonable alternative to renting a bike for two
weeks. It might even be cheaper to buy one instead of renting for 2 weeks.

If anyone plans to stay in Taiwan after DebConf (I'm leaving on the
6th), I'd be happy to sell it for 1500 $NTD (40 EUR).
