Re: Will pre-recorded only talk be accepted for DebConf22?
I think this is a good idea. Having small videos that explain something trivial or quick tips or something like setting up your favorite dev environment/ showcasing it’s benefits would be a great way to share experiences from older (read as more experienced) members to newer members. Since sharing of such ideas usually happens during debcamp anyway, sharing/documenting these things for remote viewers would have a good impact I think. Maybe if this works we could join all these small videos and upload it to our video streaming platform of choice so that we could use that as a reference in the future if we forget. As a member of the video team I can volunteer for this but I am open to other’s opinion regarding if this would work for the conference as a whole or if this would require significantly more volunteers than we currently get. IMPORTANT: Personal Information related
Hello there folkes, I was browsing through the Travel Co-ordination website to check who will be arriving when I realized that people have updated their PNR number instead of the flight number. Please change that ASAP, including the data that's available online anyone can cancel/reschedule/modify details or worse steal your information for for ID fraud. I will not be naming anyone here but I hope anyone who has updated their details and have doubt to recheck their details to change it to the flight number. As for others I am super exited to see you all! Regards, Kartik Kulkarni signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
Re: Shipping Debian merch/goodies to India
Off topic : @shirish just wanted to know if you are talking about Pirate Praveen or maybe someone else...
Re: Shipping Debian merch/goodies to India
Hmm seems like a good idea, Thanks! Regards, Kartik Kulkarni
Re: Shipping Debian merch/goodies to India
Oh I am not a GSoC student either...I wasn't being clear in my previous email so I wanted to clear the misunderstanding. And would we be able to get those goodies if we arrange for prepaid shipping from any place in India? Also if someone from Bangalore has attended the debconf and was willing to get it I would personally head anywhere near Bangalore to collect it. Regards, Kartik Kulkarni
Re: Shipping Debian merch/goodies to India
Even I am interested, I stay in Bangalore though. Re: Deadline for eCode for VISA is Jun 13
Hey Jonas, That was pretty lame of me as well I guess, I normally remove everything from the the mail even if it's normal reply but it was around 3AM when I saw it yesterday and I just had to send that email right away or I could forget about it... Anyway I will make sure to sound a little less harsh the next time. Regards, Kartik Kulkarni
