Yes, the Igazu Falls are awesome and the heli-tour is really breathtaking!

I am so sad, that I could not join you at DebConf19 this year but I
hope to see you all next year. And to stay on topic: I am looking
forward to taste the various kinds of beers, whatever there might be.
Cheers! :)

Hey,

For those who may visit Foz do Igaçu soon, may I warmly recommend the
recently opened 277 microbrewery. They have a fair set of delicious dark
beers (Mate Stout, Petroleum, etc.) and various other kinds of pretty
good beers.

If you stay there long enough, you may also have the opportunity to talk
a bit with the boss who speaks a pretty decent English (compared to
mine), and taste some of his nice experiments (tell him the green
bearded guy gave you the address of his establishment ;).

Sorry for the following URL, but that’s the only “official” one I’ve
found after a quick search:

https://www.facebook.com/277craftbeer/

Feel free to ask me for more information (preferably IRL, e.g., while
sharing a beer on 13th floor of the hotel…)

If it helps, I am not a local but on a strong recommendation from the
CEO of the local Bodebrown brewery (who, prior to DebConf, I randomly
bumped into in the Mercado Municipal…) I went to the nearby "We Are
Bastards" bar. It sports thirty-two taps with a wide variety of
Brazilian beers, dégustation/tasting "flights", food and a huge number
of tables both inside and out.

I forgot to tell you 2 thinks:
- We will pay what we drink, in the end of DC19. So, we don't need to
decide all beers we want before.
- We can change the "flavour" of the beers during DC19.

But its good have a idea what kind of beers we probably will drink more.

Great, thanks!

As one of those who took care of serving beers last year, I like your
proposal, a lot! I guess your third choice (Pilsner) matches a request
we were not able to fulfill during DebConf18: something not to tasty and
easy to drink.

For the forth choice, as other people advised, a dark one should also be
a good choice (it was the first one sold out last year). A stout would
be great in my NSH opinion (beware of the way to serve it as Cathy
already pointed out), a porter a very nice choice too, any dark one
otherwise, please.

Cheers
