When accessibility is not used during installation, yes. But if
accessibility is used (braille, speech, or dark theme), the Mate desktop

is selected by default instead.


I use the image:

debian-10.3.0-amd64-netinst.iso

At the beginning, I press "s" and return.
When selecting programs, 1 6 12 is selected by default.

Intrasting, why the default Debian desktop is installed with Mate. As I

With regard to accessibility Debian has Mate as the default DE.

By default, this installs Debian desktop and Mate.
