debian on sun x4200
Hi, I am trying to install debian on Sun X4200 server. The install goes fine, but there is no way I can boot the system. After a reboot , when the server boots from a hard disk only a flashing "_" sing apears and nothing more. Solaris boots fine, so i think the server is ok. Any idea what might be the problem ? Re: Problems with schroot after a listdc update
Hi I think I had this problem a year ago and the solution is the following. In the do_chroot script write #!/bin/bash LANG=C; exec schroot -p -c sid -q -- "`basename $0`" "$@" This LANG=C fixes the problem. At least chroot works happily on my computer. Problems with schroot after a listdc update
Hi all, yesterday, i updated my debian/testing/amd64 system and after it, i can't use the schroot (this is the error E: locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid). I search for the error on google and seems that the problem is solved with the new schroot package (in unstable [http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg125547.html]).. Someone has the same problem, or can help me to solved before the new schroot package Thanks Guillermo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? AFAIK these errors are pretty harmless. You just go into the chroot and should be able to install whatever you want there. Network failure
Hi Today my network does not work. /etc/init.d/networkging restart answers with the following comment "RTNETLINK answers: File exists" It worked happily yesterday and I have not changed anything except for upgrading a little bit. Does anyone know the solution. Thanks Gudjon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
