No, you should be still able to download it. However, it appears I was
beaten to it and both Lennart and Hendrik already gave you some hints.

Hey,

You can find it at the Debian archive [1]. It is not a direct download
but a .jigdo file [2] and you will need jigdo [3] to get it.

It 'just works' due to its ability to auto-configure itself. Take a look
at the X.org wiki [1] (first point) - you can override this kind of
behaviour if you like by forcing it to create xorg.conf for you.
