I don't really see the point. We have two lists already, debian-amd64 and
debian-bsd. Adding one more would confuse users.

debian-amd64@lists.debian.org is the official ML for Debian GNU/Linux
on the AMD64 architecture. Having BSD topics show up there will be
confusing, not to mention that all the (surely increasing when debian
adds amd64 officialy) linux traffic will drown out bsd topics. For
people intrested in just bsd on amd64 the S/N ratio will be realy bad.

debian-amd64 is for porting Debian to AMD x86-64 architecture. There's
nothing specific to Linux about that.

Fine. I still think it will get lost as the list becomes more and more
a users list for the debian-amd64 port. But as non BSD user it isn't
my loss.

Don't worry ;)

In general, debian-bsd is the place for GNU/kFreeBSD questions, no matter the
architecture.

But in topics where GNU/kFreeBSD and amd64 overlap (i.e. kfreebsd-amd64 topics),
I don't find it unreasonable to cross-post for both lists. Specialy for
announcements of news that might be of interest to debian-amd64 subscribers.
