Kwin + Kompmgr = eye candy
For those who want to try translucency without waiting for the ABI transition of KDE there is an unoffical repository: deb http://helion.xcyb.org/debian-xcyborg/ unstable main I'm running it without major problems (even if apt-listbugs listed 1 grave bug for kde-base and 1 for kdm), but sometimes glitches occur in some windows. This version has Kwin compiled with support for Kompmgr and there are even other necessary libraries. I think it has been "ported" from ubuntu. -- Alessandro Dal Grande Student In The University Of Padua - Computer Science Linux Registered User #359258 System: GNU/Linux Debian Sid Pure64 on [EMAIL PROTECTED] Chat: Psi (ICQ)150487234 (Jabber)[EMAIL PROTECTED] Put the fan back into computing signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
