Bug#225430: apache: mod_perl causes segfault

2004-01-04 Thread Benoit Panizzon
Package: apache
Version: 1.3.27.0-2.0.ipv6.r1
Severity: normal
Followup-For: Bug #225430

Hi

Yesterday I did my last apt-get upgrade. Since then Apache segfaulted.
I've removed mod_perl as suggested in this report and this solved the problem.

So this is an apache or a mod_perl problem?

neither. there's nothing to be done. we have to wait for apache to
propagate into testing.

Bug#226131: $r-dir_config('foo') returns undef instead of 0 when PerlSetVar foo '0'

2004-01-04 Thread Don Armstrong
Package: libapache-mod-perl
Version: 1.29.0.1-3
Severity: important
Tags: patch

An apache configuration with:

Location /
 PerlSetVar foo '0';
/Location

Causes $r-dir_config('foo') to return undef unstead of zero. However,
$r-dir_config returns a hashref with the appropriate values set.

Apparently, the following patch[1] fixes this issue, but I have not yet
tried it myself. (It looks reasonable though...)

This is fixed in most recent version of libapache-mod-mp3, quite a long
time ago.
