I have removed the following lines from my httpd.conf I have no idea why they were in there... but everything works fine without them. # If the perl module is installed, this will be enabled. ##IfModule mod_perl.c ## Alias /perl/ /var/www/perl/ ## Location /perl ##SetHandler perl-script ##PerlHandler Apache::Registry ##Options +ExecCGI ## /Location ##/IfModule Lets close this bug then. Unfortunately it's currently impossible to use the Debian mailing lists with a e-mail address that matches procmail's check for mail coming from a daemon. This means that a username may not have mail, admin, root, master, list or similar strings in it (see procmailrc(5) for FROM_DAEMON). Why close it? Iff these configuration options alone cause a startup problem there shure _is_ a bug. Maybe reasign it to libapache-mod-perl. It works here. It was the first step i did after your mail about perl.
