apache upgrade from upstream to accept attribute secret for ajp

2020-05-10 Thread Mohammed Alnajdi
Greetings team,

I wanted to ask if stretch and buster will get an update to get latest
upstream to accept the secret attribute with AJP. tomcat has that fix but
we need apache also to update.

Hi,

package in stretch and buster are updated only to fix security issues
and some major bugs. But you can use backports

Cheers,
Xavier

Thanks for the reply.

So there is no way to get such fix in stretch?

Its really strange since i would say debian is stable but tomcat8 pushed this
new update from upstream to stretch and it broke all our reverse proxy using
ajp and i was trying to set this new secret at apache but with no luck its
harder to plan for vm upgrade for our stretch stack.

Your package has been put into the NEW queue, which requires manual action
from the ftpteam to process. The upload was otherwise valid (it had a good
OpenPGP signature and file hashes are valid), so please be patient.

Packages are routinely processed through to the archive, and do feel
free to browse the NEW queue[1].

If there is an issue with the upload, you will receive an email from a
member of the ftpteam.

If you have any questions, you may reply to this email.
