Please make sure help is mentioned in both cases below, so that there
is no longer the two lines with just 0.

why? I really don't understand the usefulness of this.

Bug#503213: apache2: Apache child is segfaulting due to a call to memcpy()

Running this command:
wget -d http://localhost/ --header=Accept-Encoding:gzip,deflate
--header=User-Agent:Mozilla/5 --header=Cache-Control:max-age=0 -O - | gunzip

on a Debian Etch amd64 system with apache2-mpm-worker version 2.2.3-4+etch5
installed with this in sites-enabled/000-default:
NameVirtualHost *
VirtualHost *
ServerAdmin webmas...@localhost

ProxyPass/ ajp://tomcat:8009/
ProxyPassReverse / ajp://tomcat:8009/

Proxy *
Allow from all
/Proxy

Location /
AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/html
Header append Vary User-Agent env=!dont-vary
/Location

CacheEnable disk /

/VirtualHost

and these modules enabled:
alias
auth_basic
authn_file
authz_default
authz_groupfile
authz_host
authz_user
autoindex
cache
cgid
deflate
dir
env
headers
mime
negotiation
proxy_ajp
proxy
setenvif
status

where tomcat is the hostname of a server that's had apt-get install
tomcat5.5-webapps tomcat5.5 ran and nothing more, everything works fine.

Do you have any more clues about what might be causing this?
For bonus points, can you reproduce it current lenny or sid?

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Debian wiki: Apache page

 Hello,

I have quickly rewritten the Apache wiki page[1]. I would be nice if
 you could review it.

looks good to me...only thing that I saw that still needed changing
was package name from apache to apache2.

also, that reminds me, somebody should remember to add passenger to
the Script / dynamic content section once it gets through NEW.

I have deleted the pages SargeApachePerl[2] and SargeApacheFPSE[2] as
they were obsolete. I have added a banner to SargeApache2FPSE to mention
it is now unsupported and that one should migrate to WebDAV.

Finally, I assume the page Apache2LennyGoals could be cleaned up, then
 renamed Apache2SqueezeGoals.

 Thanks,

 Franklin

Bug#488163: closed by Ryan Niebur [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Re: Bug#488163: bump apr to 1.3.2)

2008-06-26 Thread Ryan Niebur
I am going to work on packaging it and then it can go into experimental.
But I'm doing a different package layout so it won't be as easy as usual.
