Package: libaprutil1 Version: 1.2.12+dfsg-3 Severity: wishlist Hi,
this evening, trying to upgrade my debian sid, I saw that the dist-upgrade wanted to install libmysqlclient15off and mysql-common. It's a desktop system and I really have no need for mysql stuff, even libs. This is because libaprutil1 is now built with mysql support, which I guess is nice for people using it, but… I only use libaprutil1 as a dependency for subversion, so I really don't need it and would prefer not have yet another useless lib on my system. Would it make sense to have a libaprutil1-mysql for this driver? Thanks for your time anyway. It's not because some packages are only installed because they are deps for other that we don't need them. Your work is really appreciated :) Regards, -- Yves-Alexis -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libaprutil1 depends on: ii libapr1 1.2.12-2 The Apache Portable Runtime Librar ii libc6 2.7-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdb4.6 4.6.21-8 Berkeley v4.6 Database Libraries [ ii libexpat1 1.95.8-4 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.7-6.3+b1 OpenLDAP libraries ii libpq5 8.3.1-2+b1 PostgreSQL C client library ii libsqlite3-0 3.5.9-1 SQLite 3 shared library ii libuuid1 1.40.8-2 universally unique id library libaprutil1 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
