2009-01-29 Thread Kevin Miller
I didn't want you to miss out on this amazing clearance sale my company is
having right now on calendar magnets. It looks like they over-bought when they
were trying to predict what the economy would do a few months back and now you
get to benefit.

Let your prospective customers know you are still in business - for as little
as 13 cents each. You can blanket your community with these popular magnetic
calendars. Place them in stores, office buildings, open houses, community
events, etc.

If you have any other ideas of good places to put them, let me know and I'll
spread the word. Shipping is free on case quantities and they usually ship out
same day. Here's the page to see:

http://cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?4IGn-31kr-ezHm2

Now that's some POSITIVE economic news!

Kevin

National Sales Director

P.S. Don't be like Edna! I just got this email from her: "I love the magnets
that I purchased. I'm currently distributing them to the residences in my farm.
I wish I had purchased more!!!" No regrets, right?

P.P.S. Don't forget the annual sale on adhesive business card magnets expires
this Saturday:

Dear Gregory:

I would like to know if you have targeted e-mails for specific states i.e. Texas for the following hosts:
1. aol.com
2.hotmail.com
3. compuserve.com

If your lists are divided by states can you divided further -- a list of just female e-mail?

What would be the cost for the state of Texas?

Would we own the names?

[EMAIL PROTECTED]: apache2 deb port]

2004-04-09 Thread Daniel Stone
I think it's because of the mixing of VirtualHost and NameVirtualHost;
I'll ask the list about it.

- Forwarded message from Luke Worthy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -

From: Luke Worthy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: apache2 deb port
Date: Thu, 8 Apr 2004 12:51:46 +1000
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I saw your name in the README.Debian with respect to problems with vhost-base
for apache2 and thought you might be able to help me :)maybe.

I have been setting up a server (debain woody with apache2 from backports.org)
and am having some virtual host issues.

I've got 2 sites configured so far, the coldfusionmx admin page, and the vhost
alias for all our web sites, they are below:

cfmx admin:

ServerAdmin [EMAIL PROTECTED]
VirtualDocumentRoot /etc/htdocs/
ServerName defiant.solman
CustomLog /var/log/cfaccess.log combined

Options -Indexes MultiViews FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from 192.168.0

*

normal websites:

NameVirtualHost *

Options -Indexes MultiViews FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all

UseCanonicalNameOff

ServerName *
VirtualDocumentRoot /webpages/clientroot/%2.1/%2.2/%0
DirectoryIndex default.cfm default.htm index.cfm index.htm index.html
ErrorDocument 404 /404.cfm

So I need to understand, whenever I run just the normal websites - works no
problem, but when I add in the definition for the admin page, the server
can't seem to serve the website pages anymore.

The error log says:
Directory index forbidden by rule: /etc/htdocs/

Which is insane, because it shouldn't use the DocRoot of the first non-vhost
definition as the doc root - I would think it should use the vhosts first,
and if then it's not found do the non-vhostsor maybe something
else.point is - it's not working and I really need some help - if either
you or anyone else you know that I can email, any help would be
appreciated :)

Luke

1) virtualhosts are run and read from top to bottom, so you might need
to re-order them;

2) my above doesn't solve the issue of why the coldfusion vhost isn't
working :) ;

3) my 0.02 $ on that is if you can maybe move it out of /etc, it might
help. apache will read stuff from /etc, but only under certain
circumstances, to prevent stuff like apache looking at and serving up
/etc/passwd and /etc/shadow to the whole world :) ;

4) moving those files from /etc might help the issue of needing -Indexes
in the coldfusion , and you might want to define a DirectoryIndex
for it. do you have a global DirectoryIndex statement? i have something
like 10 index files there and they all work. if you need to add to the
list, you can do what you did, and specify them per-vhost.

They don't fail for us.

Can you provide more information about what you are doing and how you
determined that stat() and filesize() are failing?

My wild guess would be that they are using php4/5. And php4 got LFS
support with 4.4.4-5 and php5 is getting to be compiled with LFS for
5.2.0-1 which will be uploaded this evening if everything will be ok.

Hi!

Anyone interested to be at the ApacheCon US for Debian, maning a booth,

I might add, that we had a Debian booth at the ApacheCon Europe this
summer [1] and it was considered to be a usefull and easy job [2].

Hi,

I'm with the Apache Software Foundation and the ApacheCon
planning team. On behalf of the ASF I would like to invite
the Debian project to take part in the Open-Source area
at the ApacheCon expo (12-14 December, San Diego).
See http://apachecon.com for further details.

I know there isn't much time left, but it would be really
great if you have people available to staff a booth at
the conference. We had a Debian booth at ApacheCon Europe
in Stuttgart this year and people really liked it!

Please contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you
are interested. You can reply to me as well, but please
note that I'm more or less offline next week.

Best Regards...

I may be able to be there; possibly some of the people from SCD will
be able to make it as well. It is kind of short notice though...

Is there more information on exactly when the exposition floor is
going to be open?

It just wasn't clear to me[1] if the exposition floor would be open
during all of those times. [Occupying a booth for 5 days is well
beyond the call of duty.]

sorry, i disagree. "reload" should not start a service that is not
running. i suppose current policy is a little ambiguous on the issue,
but i brought it up on devel some time before raising the severity and
the general consensus was in agreement with me. i also supplied a patch
which is fairly trivial, so i don't see what the big deal is.

Probably best to wait for the general freeze, so that applications
using apr won't be recompiled with 1.3.2 and then be unable to migrate
to testing.

Well this is difficult to understand the debian package system
description says:

unstable (net): the Apache Portable Runtime
2.0.55-4: alpha amd64 arm hppa i386 ia64 kfreebsd-i386 m68k mips

and well that seems to go with the apache2 I'm using so I was thinking
this is the most actual library.

I'm sorry if I did get that wrong, but I hope one can see how
it has come to this misunderstanding.

No, apache2.0 uses the APR 0.9 branch for API/ABI compatability reasons.
Apache 2.2 when it hits experimental will use the APR/APU 1.2 packages.

Hi Tollef,

thanks, but that's not exactly the solution I expected.

Why isn't the ext_filter module shipped anymore. From what I can
see, it's one of the modules that is enabled when you compile
Apache with --enable-modules=all and even --enable-modules=most

Is the plan to have it shipped in a separate package?

Is the removal documented somewhere for people upgrading from
2.0 to 2.2?

I think the documentation for this module is still in the apache
manual (http://localhost/manual/).

I don't know about the two others, but I think removing
ext_filter is likely to affect some web servers.

Cheers,
Stephane

thank you

This has NOT been fixed in 2.2 I am still seeing this problem after upgrading
to apache2 2.2.3-2.
Here is the setup I tried:
/etc/apache2/apache2.conf:
Options Indexes MultiViews
IndexOptions FancyIndexing VersionSort HTMLTable NameWidth=*
/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default:
Options -Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride Options Indexes FileInfo
../.htaccess:
IndexOptions +SuppressLastModified
./.htaccess:
Options +Indexes
IndexOptions +SuppressDescription

FancyIndexing is NOT on, even though I have specified it in
/etc/apache2/apache2.conf. Commenting out the line in ../.htaccess works as
expected.

Version: 2.2.3-1

* Jayen Ashar

| I would like to use the following setup, and I expect it to have
FancyIndexing for the current directory, with SuppressDescription and
SuppressLastModified
| /etc/apache2/apache2.conf:IndexOptions FancyIndexing VersionSort NameWidth=*
| ../.htaccess:IndexOptions +SuppressDescription
| ./.htaccess:IndexOptions +SuppressLastModified
| But, it doesn't seem to have FancyIndexing on.
| Looking at the documentation at
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_autoindex.html#indexoptions, I expect
to see FancyIndexing with SuppressDescription and SuppressLastModified

This seems to have been fixed in 2.2, so closing this bug.

That doesn't address the original bug, just the commentary.

apr-1.2.7/debian/rules
lists
--includedir=\$${prefix}/usr/include/apr-1.0
--with-installbuilddir=\$${prefix}/usr/share/apr-1.0/build

The debian configuration overrides the default install location with a
